This is a required update. Older versions of ClockWork Pro will stop working later this year, so please install it now. NEW MENU Clock, Schedule and Messages sit on the bottom bar. Everything else is one tap away under Menu, grouped into sections you can open and close. Badges on the menu, on each section and on each item show what needs your attention. On every other screen, the Clock button at the top takes you straight back to clock in or out, and shows how long you've been clocked in. LOCATION Before ClockWork Pro uses your location, a new screen explains what it collects, when, and who can see it. Location is used only while the app is open, never when the app is closed or in the background. NOTIFICATIONS Tapping a notification opens the screen it's about, even when the app was closed. Your recent notifications are under Menu → Account → Notifications. FOR MANAGERS Payroll estimates are worked out on our servers, using the same calculation as the website, including overtime for staff who work at more than one location. Approval badges count only the locations you manage. ALSO Kiosk PIN: type your new PIN twice, with a clearer message when a PIN can't be used. Security and reliability improvements.

Late-evening shifts now show up on time, so you can clock in for them. - Dates and times follow your company's time zone, even if your phone is set to a different one. - Overnight shifts now end on the correct day. - Ending a break is quicker and can't be counted twice. - Payroll estimates always match recorded hours, and timecards that need a look are flagged. - Opening the app from a notification and attaching photos are more reliable. - Bug fixes and performance improvements.

What's new in 2.0.5 - More accurate payroll estimates for managers. Rejected timecards are no longer counted, and you can see how many timecards are still waiting for approval. - Managers who cover specific locations now see overtime calculated correctly across all of an employee's locations, with hours worked elsewhere shown separately. - Breaks are now subtracted from the part of a split shift where they were actually taken. - "Today" and "This week" now follow your company's time zone and workweek start day. - Bug fixes and improvements.

MORE ACCURATE PAYROLL ESTIMATES • The payroll estimate managers see on their phone now includes overtime. Previously it multiplied total hours by the hourly rate, which understated pay for anyone who worked past your weekly overtime threshold. • Overtime is calculated on your company's actual workweek — using the start day, time zone and threshold set in your account — and shown at 1.5×, with a breakdown underneath when overtime applies. • The figure now matches the Timecards and Reports totals on the web dashboard exactly, so the number on your phone and the number you export for payroll agree. Employees: your own hours display is unchanged.

SHIFT COVERAGE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS • You can now accept a coworker's shift request. Tap "I'll take this shift" on an open request, or Accept and Decline when a request is sent directly to you. Your manager still gives the final approval. • Fixed: coverage requests posted to the whole team couldn't be picked up by anyone. They now can. PASSWORD RESET FIXED • Fixed an issue where the "forgot password" link sent from the app didn't open properly, leaving some people unable to get back into their account. Resetting your password from the app now works end to end. NEVER MISS A CLOCK-OUT • If your shift has ended and you're still clocked in, the app now reminds you — so your hours are recorded correctly instead of estimated later. • If you leave work after your shift ends without clocking out, the app clocks you out and flags it for your manager to review. FOR MANAGERS AND OWNERS • Notifications are now limited to the locations you actually manage, so you stop getting alerts about stores you don't oversee. • New notification settings let you choose exactly what you're notified about — clock in and out, late arrivals, breaks, shift swaps, time off, and automatic clock-outs. • Admins can send a password reset to any employee from the web dashboard. DISTANCE IN FEET OR METERS • Choose your preferred unit in Settings. Clock-in messages and geofence distances follow your choice. Plus accessibility improvements, layout fixes, and general stability work.

SCHEDULING • Managers now get a heads-up before scheduling someone who has approved time off or has marked that day unavailable — including when assigning a replacement for a missed shift. EVERYTHING ELSE • New in-app help guide — tap Help anytime for a walkthrough of the app. • See at a glance whether your notifications are switched on, and turn them back on in one tap if they aren't. • Managers, admins, and the person who made the request can now delete time-off and shift-swap requests. • Various stability, scrolling, and display fixes throughout the app.

ClockWork Pro 2.0.1 makes clocking out as automatic as clocking in. - Auto clock-out: employees who leave the job site after their scheduled shift ends are now clocked out automatically — no more forgotten punches inflating timecards. Auto clock-outs are clearly flagged so managers can review them. - Smarter scheduling: when you create a shift, the replacement picker now warns you up front if an employee has approved time off or falls on a blackout date — before you assign the shift, not after. - Notification fixes: location broadcasts sent from mobile now reliably notify every recipient, and a new status card helps you restore push notifications if they've been turned off on your device.
