Joining from an invite is easier: • Copied an invite link before you had the app? On "Join with a code", tap Paste and you're in the group. • Paste fills in an 8-character invite code too. Also: if an item or comment you added couldn't be saved after you'd left that page, FreeTogether tells you the next time you open it and gives the text back.

Better with a weak connection: • Keep adding items and comments while you're offline. They're sent when you're back online. • If one couldn't be saved after all, FreeTogether says which one and gives the text back so you can try again.

Fixes for What to bring and events: • Items and comments with lots of emoji now save reliably. • When someone leaves a group, what they said they'd bring is free again, and the count shows it. • A long place or description now saves when you edit an event.

New: What to bring. • Add what an event needs, and say what you'll bring. • See who's bringing what, and how much is covered on each event. • Changed your mind? Give an item back with a tap. Also: the keyboard no longer covers what you're typing on an event, and unblocking someone shows their comments again right away.

Add a photo right next to Add to Calendar, or from Edit event. Tap an event's place to open it in Apple Maps or Google Maps.

Photos, comments and weekly repeats. • Add a cover photo to a group or an event. • Comment on an event right under it, or chat with the whole group, and like comments. • Repeat a mark every week: "busy Mon–Fri until March" in one step, and skip a week from the day itself. • Mark the days you're free: days nobody marks show as "Not marked" and count half, so Best dates puts the days people said they can make first. • Set hours for free, busy or maybe, and the same hours on each day of a range. • Events show on the group calendar, with their start time. • Mark your dates once and add them to your other groups too.

• Changing month on the calendar no longer leaves the previous day open. • Day details list you first, then everyone by name. • On iPad, your groups sit side by side. • If a notification setting fails to save, your other settings stay as they are. • Blocked members stay hidden everywhere, even on a poor connection. • More reliable notification cleanup after you're signed out.

• Busy for part of a day? Set the hours instead, like busy 2 – 5 PM. • Find a time: a few hours on one day that work for everyone, for a hangout (any time, daytime or evening). • Add busy times from your calendar. Only the days and times you're busy leave your phone; event names and details don't. • Events can have a start and end time. • Fixes and polish.

Notifications are here. • Get a nudge when someone proposes an event, when it's confirmed, and when someone joins your group. Turn them on from the card on your groups list, choose which ones you want in Profile › Notifications, and mute any group from its settings. • Remind them: on Best dates, nudge the people who haven't marked their days yet. • Tap a notification to jump straight to the group or event. • Easier events: tap one day for a one-day event, or two days for a range. • Reliability fixes: clearer messages when something can't load or save, and an event deleted while you're looking at it now says so.

FreeTogether has a whole new look, light and dark. • Mark your dates by tapping a start and an end day. • Best dates shows how many people are free each day, and who's busy. • Your groups at a glance: the best window, who still needs to mark dates, and upcoming events. • RSVP to events: I'm in, Maybe or Can't, and see who's coming. • Add an event to your calendar in one tap. • Report someone and block them in one step; unblock people from your profile. • Better support for larger text and VoiceOver, plus many fixes.

• See who's free: tap any suggested date range to see each member's availability for those days. • Find Dates now shows who hasn't marked any dates yet. • Event creators and group owners can now change an event's dates. • Easier invites: share the invite right after creating a group, and invite links now open the group directly, with a clear message if an invite no longer works. • Fixes: search errors now show a message, event dates are easier to read, and deleted groups can no longer be joined.
