You put in the work. GRIPT shows it's paying off — every set logged in seconds, every workout turned into charts so clear you can see your progress at a glance.
Open the app, log the set, get back to lifting.
BRING YOUR HISTORY WITH YOU
GRIPT reads exports from 19 popular workout trackers directly — every PR, every number. No export? Share a CSV, PDF or notebook photo to GRIPT, or paste your log as text, and AI import turns it into history. Plans become routines. Export anytime.
LOG A SET IN SECONDS
• A custom keyboard built for lifting — weight steppers, one-tap RPE/RIR, plates, add set, complete set
• Your previous numbers next to every set — see them, beat them
• Supersets, warm-up, failure, drop, and cool-down sets
• Rest timer that learns your pace — live on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
• Set stopwatch, plate and warm-up calculators one tap away
• Barbell, dumbbell, machine, bodyweight, cardio with distance, and timed sets
• Works fully offline — it syncs later
PERSONAL RECORDS
• Every PR you've ever set, in one place — search, sort, see how much each one moved
• New records light up the moment you finish: completion screen, history, share cards — with the number you beat
• A set shouldn't count? Exclude it, or reset records from a date. Nothing is deleted
• A history chart for every record, with PRO
SEE WHAT'S ACTUALLY WORKING
This is where GRIPT pulls ahead — 19 charts, beautifully clear:
• Estimated 1RM, max weight, volume, reps, working weight range
• Weekly volume and weekly sets per muscle group — built for hypertrophy
• Muscle load heatmap, muscle balance radar & muscle split — spot what you're skipping
• Training load heatmap, training-day calendar, workouts per week vs. your goal
KNOW WHAT TO LIFT NEXT
GRIPT suggests your next weight and reps from your sets and effort, spots plateaus, recognises deloads, and shows the reasoning behind every call. First suggestions free, the rest with PRO.
APPLE WATCH, IPAD, SIRI
Log sets with the Digital Crown and get rest timer taps on your wrist. Split View on iPad. Start a routine, run the rest timer, or log your weight from Siri, Spotlight, and Control Center.
ROUTINES, YOUR WAY
Build and reorder routines, tweak them mid-workout, update them in a tap. Start from the library, swap any exercise for a similar one, schedule your next session from the finish screen.
WATCH YOUR BODY CHANGE
Body weight, body fat, and every body part from neck to calves, with goals and reminders. Progress photos link to workouts and compare side by side. Workouts save to Apple Health; weight and body fat sync both ways.
FINISH STRONG, SHARE IT
Every session ends with a clean summary — new PRs and next targets up front — and story-ready share cards. Send any workout or routine as a link; friends can try it in one tap.
AN EXERCISE LIBRARY THAT TEACHES
Hundreds of exercises with how-to steps and common mistakes in your language, plus your records, history, and charts on each. Create custom exercises, or report a missing one and we'll add it.

Track smarter. Lift consistently. Get a grip on your progress.
I’ve been using Strong for years, and I’ve also tried several other workout apps, including Trainerize, JEFIT, and others, trying to find the perfect one. I was always looking for an app that could give me useful data and feedback, help with progression, stay simple to use, let me easily create my own splits, have built-in timers, and work with my Apple Watch.Until I found Gript, I could never find one that checked all those boxes. I eventually just settled on Strong and programmed my own progression, which worked, but honestly wasn’t much different than carrying around a notepad.Gript checks all those boxes and then some. The layout is simple, it’s easy to navigate, and I really like that it actually helps you know when it’s time to increase the weight. I’m not sure yet if it also recommends when to increase reps, but that’s something I’ll be suggesting to the developers because I think that would make it even better.I also really like the amount of data it gives you. You can see your training trends, volume, muscle balance, training frequency, etc. The muscle balance feature in particular is really cool because it gives you an easy visual of how much you’re training each body part. The exercise library is huge, and the demonstrations and cues are really helpful, especially when trying an exercise I haven’t done before. From what I can tell, this is a newer app, and one of the things I appreciate most is that the developers actually seem to listen to feedback and respond. I had an issue with adding comments to individual exercises, brought it to their attention, and they were already working on fixing it and sent me an update afterward.I’ve spent years trying different workout apps, and Gript is by far the best one I’ve used. It finally feels like I found the app I was looking

Thank you so much for this review! Seriously, it means a lot to us!We're really happy to hear that Gript finally feels like the workout app you were looking for. And good news... Gript does recommend when to increase reps too, not just weight, as part of the progression logic :) We're still improving the app all the time, so keep the feedback coming. We're always listening!
Pretty user friendly and clean

Could use a couple aesthetic fixes, but works great. Devs have built a lot really quickly it seems. Well laid out, graphs are great, very easy to edit in-workout. They need an actual logo though hahaAnnoyance- the menu buttons are smaller than normal Liquid Glass buttons and are harder to tap. Especially when sweating and breathing hard during a workout. Better spacing would help.
Developer Response
Thank you for the detailed review, this is really helpful! You're right about the buttons: the workout menu controls are currently a few points smaller than the standard Liquid Glass buttons, which makes them harder to hit mid-set. We're increasing them to the system size and improving the spacing in the next update. We'd love to hear which aesthetic details bothered you. If you have a minute, email us at help@griptapp.com with what you'd change and we'll take a serious look. Thanks for training with Gript!
The best interface

I feel that every single time I open the app there is a new feature, thanks for making it better every day
Developer Response
Thank you so much for the kind review! Absolutely, that is the goal – ship fast, make users happy
• Favorite exercises: star the ones you keep coming back to and find them at the top of the library and the exercise picker, synced across your devices
• Excel workbooks (.xlsx) import directly, no CSV export needed
• More export formats are read directly, including tape-measure and scale exports as body measurements
• Imported workout titles and exercise names with garbled accented characters are repaired
• Rest-day lines in plan imports are skipped and noted on the review screen
• An export file with no workouts says so instead of running a failed import
• Apple Health stays in step when a workout's times are edited or it is deleted
• Large imports whose final step never reached the server are completed at the next launch
Thank you for using Gript and for your feedback!
