The all-in-one writing studio for Mac. Plan, write, design your cover, and export to Word & ePub — fully offline. Free for life for early adopters.
Lekhanam is a local book writing tool built for macOS. Everything lives on your Mac — no cloud, no
subscriptions, no tracking.
Write and organise your book with four chapter views: a clean rich-text editor, an Outliner for structure,
a Corkboard for visual planning, and a distraction-free Focus Mode. Find & Replace lets you search across
your entire manuscript in seconds.
Build memorable characters with detailed profiles, photos, and a built-in AI character interview tool. The
Ghostwriter helps you turn scene beats into prose. AI writing assistance runs fully on-device with Lekha
