Tone Generator: Frequency Hz plays audio tones from 1 Hz to 22 kHz — pick a frequency or a preset, press the big Play button under the dial, and hear it. Sine, square, sawtooth and triangle waves, plus white, pink and brown noise.
The tone keeps playing when you switch to another app or lock the screen, so a tone or noise can run while you read, work or rest. A sleep timer (15, 30 or 60 minutes) stops it for you.

Start at a low volume. Loud tones, especially high frequencies, can harm hearing and speakers. Brainwave and solfeggio presets are traditionally used in relaxation and focus routines; they are not a medical or therapeutic treatment. The tinnitus preset is a masking tone, not a treatment.

• The rating request no longer appears when the app opens. It now comes only after you have listened to a tone for at least 15 seconds and stopped it yourself, from the 3rd such time on, about 5 seconds after the tone stops.
• If a tone is playing again, you touched the screen or left the app in those seconds, or a full-screen ad was on screen in the last 30 seconds, it waits for a later listen. It is asked at most once; “Review” in the menu still works anytime.
