STC Learn is the free app from Senior Tech Connect, a tech education company built specifically for older adults. Whether you are picking up a smartphone for the first time or want to get more out of the one you have, STC Learn gives you clear, patient guidance on the things you actually want to do.
PRACTICE LESSONS
Learn by doing. Each lesson walks you through a real task, from unlocking your phone and sending a text to booking a ride, refilling a prescription, or shopping online. You practice on a phone inside the app, so nothing you tap is real and nothing can go wrong. A highlighted button shows you exactly where to press, and a coach explains what each step does. Repeat any lesson as often as you like.
YOUR 24/7 TECH COACH
Have a question about anything in your tech life? The Tech Coach answers in plain language, any time of day, and never makes you feel rushed. Prefer to talk? Tap Call and have a real conversation by voice. Tap Text to ask you questions via text and get a list of instructions to follow in a text format.

Large text, high contrast, bold text, reduced motion, and a read-aloud option are all one tap away and can be changed at any time. Clear navigation and big buttons mean you can always find your way back.

STC Learn is free with no ads. It is built by Senior Tech Connect, a company on a mission to close the digital divide for older adults.
Tech Coach saves your past chats and calls on your phone, with a Past conversations screen to read or continue them.
If a chat or call drops, or you come back within the hour, the Tech Coach offers to pick up where you left off.
Starter questions return: tappable suggestions in the chat and a “Try saying” tile on calls, with a fresh set each time.
The Tech Coach now recommends the right lesson for what you asked, using AI instead of a fixed keyword list.
Phone Basics is rebuilt as 51 one-minute lessons, plus two new ones: Delete an App and Book an Uber Ride.
Call screen redesigned with a compact status strip, so the live transcript gets most of the screen.
