ClearRead - Dyslexia Reader
Text to Speech, ADHD Focus
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
ClearRead helps you read and listen at the same time. Words highlight in sync as they're spoken aloud, so your eyes and ears work together — making it easier to focus, absorb, and enjoy what you're reading.
Built for readers with dyslexia, ADHD, and visual impairments — but useful for anyone who wants a better reading experience.
READ YOUR WAY
Import your own ePubs and PDFs, save articles from the web, or paste any text. ClearRead turns everything into a clean, distraction-free reading view with your preferred settings applied automatically.
FONTS THAT FIT YOUR BRAIN
Choose from Lexend, OpenDyslexic, and other accessibility-optimized fonts. Adjust font size, line height, letter spacing, word spacing, and paragraph spacing until it feels right.
LISTEN AND READ TOGETHER
Text-to-speech with word-by-word highlighting keeps you anchored to the page. Pick from system voices or upgrade to premium AI voices that sound natural. Control speed from 0.5x to 2.5x.
FOCUS TOOLS
Bionic reading bolds the first portion of each word to guide your eye. Focus mode dims surrounding text so you only see the line you're on. Scroll continuously or read page-by-page — whatever works for you.
THEMES & COLORS
Light, dark, sepia, and high contrast themes built in. Or create your own custom theme with any background, text, and accent color you want.
PDF READING, REINVENTED
PDFs don't have to be painful. ClearRead extracts the text and renders it with full accessibility — your fonts, your spacing, your colors.
MULTIPLE WAYS TO ADD CONTENT
- Import ePub and PDF files from your device
- Save articles by pasting a URL
- Paste any text directly
