Played on Paper is a free social app for football fans. Your home feed shows what your friends are predicting, how your groups' tables are moving, what's happening in live games, and the latest news about your club. Each match has its own chat room, and each group has its own chat. You can comment, reply, react and vote on posts.
At the heart of it is the prediction game. You predict the score of every Premier League, EFL and FA Cup match before kick-off: 10 points for the exact score, 5 for the right result. Everyone's predictions are shown at the same time when predictions close, and you compete in private groups with people you know, plus a table against fans of your club.

CHAT ABOUT EVERY MATCH
• Every match has its own chat room, open before, during and after the game

• Bad language is filtered out, and you can report anyone who causes trouble
PREDICT THE SCORE
• Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two and the FA Cup
• Predict any match up to 10 minutes before kick-off
• Once you've saved a prediction you can't change it
• Exact score: 10 points. Right result: 5 points. Wrong: 0
• Pick the league winners at the start of the season
PLAY IN GROUPS
• Start a private group for your friends, family, five-a-side team or work, or join one with a code
• Each group has its own table, updated after every match
• See where you rank against fans of your club
• Weekly divisions: finish near the top to go up, near the bottom and you go down
• Earn honours, from your first exact score to a whole season without missing a week. They can't be bought

• Live scores on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island for the matches you've starred
• A running list of every score as goals go in
• Home Screen widgets for your next match and how long until predictions close
• On Apple Watch: when predictions close, and how you did at full time

Played on Paper is invite-only for Season 1. You'll need an invite or a group code from a friend to join.

Starting a group is quicker: name it, add a picture if you like, and you land straight in it, ready to invite your friends.
Group settings are tidier, with your group's name and picture first and one clear Save. There's a settings button at the top of every group too.
Yellow and red cards now show in their own colours in match stats.
Switching between Create and Join no longer lags.
The app says "prediction" everywhere now.
