Prompt en Place is an AI-first recipe app that helps you curate your library, create completely new recipes & refine existing ones with twists that you would find in award-winning restaurants or even simplify for lazy weeknights.
Describe what you want to cook — ingredients you have, a cuisine, a mood — and AI generates a full recipe. Paste a URL from any recipe site or snap a photo of a cookbook page, and the app extracts and structures everything. Switching from another app? Import your entire collection.
AI SOUS-CHEF
Every recipe has a built-in AI assistant. Want something special? A small change can elevate a dish to restaurant grade. Or simplify a recipe when you're short on time. Swap ingredients, substitute what you don't have.
TRANSLATIONS, SCALING & CONVERSIONS
Your AI sous-chef speaks many languages and will automatically adjust recipes to your language, unit system and even propose regionally more common ingredients. Scale portions up or down — AI adjusts quantities, timing, and instructions together, not just the numbers.
MISE EN PLACE FORMAT
Every recipe is reorganized so prep is separated from cooking. You see exactly what to chop, measure, and prepare before turning on the stove.
HANDS-FREE COOKING MODE
Full-screen step-by-step view with hand-gesture scrolling — no touching the screen with messy fingers. Timers are pulled automatically from the recipe and alert you in the background.
CAMERA IMPORT
See a recipe in a magazine, on a restaurant wall, or in someone's handwriting? Point your camera and AI reads it.
PLATING IDEAS
Not sure how to present a dish? Generate AI images for plating inspiration.
YOUR COLLECTION, ORGANIZED
Browse as cards, tiles, or a list. Search by title, tag, or ingredient. Rate your favorites. iCloud keeps everything synced across your devices and shared with your loved ones if you want to.

No account, no ads, no cookies (unless you want to bake some, of course...).
FREE MODE
Yes, we have In-App Subscriptions. We get it, subscriptions suck. But we use state of the art AI models in the background that cost us real money, so we have to charge for it. If you cancel your subscription, all your recipes stay intact and you can still use all non-AI functionality in the app without paying a cent. (Just cancel, and resubscribe if you need to. We do that, too. Sorry, Netflix.)
