App Pause after Salah Qurany can now pause the apps that pull you away, for a short window after each prayer — so the first thing you reach for once you have prayed is the word of Allah. You choose which apps, and they open again as soon as you have read your pages. Set it up from your khatam's ⋯ menu. Arabic search finds the ayah Searching the Quran in Arabic now works properly. Type any part of any verse and it will find it, however you spell it — with or without the mushaf's own marks, on an Arabic, Indonesian, Persian or Urdu keyboard. A half-remembered phrase is enough. Khatam • Every pages-per-day is now selectable. The wheel used to skip from 8 straight to 11, 16, 31; every number in between is real now, and the final day carries what is left. • A group khatam can run for a single day. • Finish your own pages and App Pause passes on to another khatam instead of holding on. Reader • Hold the page number at the bottom to scrub through the mushaf — surah, page and juz follow your finger, and the page turns when you let go. • Tapping a surah now opens exactly where you stopped, not where you were before that. • Fixed a case where the reader could fail to open. Everywhere • A proper iPad layout instead of a stretched phone. • Larger system text sizes are honoured across the app. • Quieter notification dots that lead somewhere instead of just asking for attention.

• The layout now adapts to every screen size and to your phone's text-size setting — nothing gets cut off or squeezed. • Smoother scrolling in the reader, and easier on the battery during long reading and listening sessions. • Reminders from your khatam space now arrive reliably. • Assorted fixes and refinements throughout the app.
