Manage humidors, log tastings, track aging, and monitor your collection's value - all private. Try Premium free for 3 days. Your private cigar journal. Puro helps you manage your cigars across humidors, log detailed smoking sessions, monitor aging, and understand your preferences over time — all in one place. Start free: log your first humidor, cigar, and smoking session. Basic unlocks unlimited entries and every feature except AI; Premium adds the AI-powered tools. Basic and Premium include a free 3-day trial — no payment required to get started. ORGANIZE YOUR COLLECTION Create multiple humidors with custom humidity and temperature targets. Add cigars with full details: brand, vitola, origin, wrapper, strength, quantity, and price. See exactly what you own — and how long each cigar has aged. Filter any humidor by brand, date added, price, strength, aging status, or quantity. DETAILED SESSIONS Log notes across each stage of the cigar: cold draw, first third, second third, and final third. Use the flavor wheel to map profiles and rate draw, construction, flavor, and aroma with precision. AI CIGAR BAND SCANNER Scan a cigar band to quickly fill in key details: brand, model, vitola, origin, wrapper, and strength. DRINK PAIRING Record what you pair with each cigar — whisky, rum, coffee, wine, or more. AGING TRACKER Set an aging target and the date a cigar has been aging since, then follow its progress. The Aging tab shows every cigar in one place: target reached, within 7 days, or still aging. STATISTICS & COLLECTION VALUE Follow your sessions, favorite brands, average ratings, humidors and cigars in stock, and estimated collection value. EXPORT YOUR DATA Export your collection and journal as PDF or CSV. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No social features. Your data stays on your device (unless AI features are used). PLANS & WHAT EACH ONE INCLUDES FREE — no subscription, no account - 1 humidor, 1 cigar, and 1 smoking session - Full flavor wheel, ratings, and detailed session notes - Drink pairing notes - Private and fully on-device BASIC SUBSCRIPTION — every feature except AI - Unlimited humidors, cigars, and smoking sessions - Aging tracker and Aging tab - Export your collection and journal to PDF & CSV - Estimated collection value tracker - Offline use for core features - Includes a free 3-day trial PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION — everything in Basic, plus AI - AI cigar band scanner to auto-fill cigar details from a photo — up to 30 scans per month - AI collection value estimator for the cigars you already own — up to 10 estimates per month (estimates are a point-in-time snapshot) - Includes a free 3-day trial Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. IMPORTANT NOTICE Puro is a personal journaling tool intended for adults of legal smoking age in their jurisdiction. Lots of Potential

This app has great potential. The design and journal options are really nice, but there are some frustrating quirks; the AI fill is inaccurate, the low stock alert blocks your sorting options, the photo viewer can only be exited by closing the app entirely, and the price estimate button gets repetitive when adding multiple cigars. Add an in-depth rating mode, the ability to transfer cigars between humidors, and fix these issues, and this would easily be my go-to app.

Thank you again for taking the time to write such a detailed review, it genuinely helped shape the next release.Good news: a patch is already on its way and will roll out to the App Store in the next few days as Puro v2.1.0. It addresses everything you mentioned:• Photo viewer now has a clear close button + swipe-down-to-dismiss• Low-stock alerts are collapsible so they never block your sort options• Price estimation is now strictly manual : no more repetitive prompts when adding cigars in a row• AI fill has been upgraded to a stronger model with stricter accuracy rules (it will leave fields blank rather than guess)• Cigars can now be transferred between humidors directly from the edit screen• In-depth rating mode is in, with a spider chart that visualizes every dimension of your sessionPlease don't hesitate to reach out for any other requests, ideas, or issues. We will update the app ASAP whenever something comes in. Reviews like yours are exactly what we need to keep refining Puro.

Update, still a 3 though! I don’t like that you can’t take the “low alert” banner off in your humidor, and that you can’t do anything about the “restock” option in your humidors! I buy tons of singles I may never have another one in that humidor! Currently I have like 40 restock cigars in my one humidor and 35 of those I will probably never find again or are different vitolas meaning at some point I could have hundreds of cigars in there!Let me start by saying the APP is great overall, I like keeping track of what and how much I have in each humidor. That said, to have unlimited humidors costs a monthly or yearly fee, which ok I get it but where is the money going? You only get 30 AI band scans a month which supposedly fills out the Brand, name, wrapper but half the time it’s wrong anyway! The AI cost estimates are ridiculous, my worth was at $700, I put in a box of cigars took none out and it dropped to $603. The camera feature sucks bad!! You take a picture and it self crops it how it wants with no rhyme or reason behind it! You center your band in the frame and it crops it to show only the bottom half….things like that! Just seems like they took a great idea, charge a monthly/yearly fee and gave you an app that should be free

Thank you for the detailed and honest feedback. You've highlighted three important concerns: collection valuation accuracy, AI scan reliability, and the camera cropping experience. All three have been heard loud and clear. A major update is already in development and is focused specifically on improving valuation stability, scan accuracy through better data verification, and giving users more control over image scanning. Since the app's release just two and a half months ago, six updates have already been shipped, and I remain committed to continuously improving the experience through regular updates.Regarding the subscription, that's a fair question. This app is built and maintained by a single person, not a big company with a team behind it. The reality is that subscriptions are the only sustainable way to maintain and improve the app. Subscription revenue helps cover AI services, infrastructure costs, store fees, and the many ongoing costs required to keep the app running. It also supports the one person behind the app who continues maintaining it and building new improvements. Advertising alone would not generate enough revenue to support those costs.Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. Reviews like yours help shape what gets improved next, and I hope the upcoming update addresses many of the issues you've raised.

Great App

I would give it 5 stars but the lack of landscape mode and the fact that the keyboard remains on screen when you log in a cigar and you can’t see what you’re typing is annoying. I do have the yearly premium version and the AI works well but I constantly have to check the disclaimer before scanning Just a few glitches that needs polishing

Developer Response
Thank you for your review! All three are on our list and being worked on for an upcoming update(scheduled in September): landscape support, a logging screen that keeps what you're typing visible above the keyboard (and lets you dismiss it properly), and a scan disclaimer you accept once rather than before every scan. Thanks for your support !

There are apps out there that do more things and way better than this one for free or less money This app has too much unnecessary interaction and keeps telling me my subscription expired and i haven’t done anything The “smoking sessions” or cigars lack the picture optionThe retro look is not my thing with the icons that took me back to 1996

Developer Response
Thanks for the candid feedback, it helps more than a silent low star.Several of your concerns were actually addressed in v2.2.0, and will be available in a few days:• Photos are now supported for cigars, humidors, and smoking sessions: take one in-app or pick from your library.• "Subscription expired" false alerts : we tracked down and fixed several bugs where active subscriptions were being incorrectly flagged as expired. If anything is still broken after the update, please use Contact Us in Settings. Every message gets read, and bug reports go to the top of the list. Looking forward to hearing from you again after the update.

• New age check. This replaces the age confirmation (self-declaration) checkbox. • Aging can now be tracked from the new Aging tab, where each cigar fills with colour as it ages, and low stock can be checked in each humidor with the Quantity filter. These replace all the notifications of the app. • New filters in each humidor: brand, date added, price, strength, aging status and quantity. • "Already aged since" is now required when you set an aging target, since the target is measured from that date. • Statistics tab is updated. • Backup features are reinforced: you can now export and import a backup file in Settings. • The AI consent form is now the "AI Use Consent Form and Disclaimer": accepted once instead of before every scan, kept in Settings > Privacy & Data, and recalled when you scan a band. • Landscape mode: Puro now rotates with your device. • Puro is now operated by Creative Adventures Lab SASU. • Terms of Use and Privacy Policy updated. • Improvements and bug fixes.
