Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight support - Shortcuts: new actions for shelff — Open Book, Continue Reading, Set Reading Status, and Search Library. Combine them with your own shortcuts, or add Continue Reading to the Lock Screen or the Action button. - Siri: say "Continue reading in shelff" to pick up where you left off, or "Search 〈title〉 in shelff" to find a book. Searching by voice requires iOS 27 with Apple Intelligence (English for now; Japanese will follow when Apple adds it). - Spotlight: search your library by title from the Home Screen and tap a result to open the book (iOS 18 or later).

A major upgrade to annotations. * Redesigned how annotations are saved. You can now annotate PDFs with OCR text created by Adobe Acrobat without corrupting the embedded text — the warning added in 1.3.1 is no longer needed and has been removed. * Highlights spanning multiple lines are now drawn line by line instead of as a single block. * Highlights on vertical text now appear line by line in other apps such as Acrobat.

* Bookmarks: You can now bookmark any page and jump back to it instantly from the bookmark list. Bookmarks are stored in the sidecar file, so the PDF itself is left untouched. * Live Text on covers: In the metadata editor, you can now select text directly from a cover image — just like in the Photos app — and drop it straight into the title or author field. Less typing, fewer typos.

Fixed a bug where editing a tag name could sometimes cause the tag to disappear from all books.

* Improved reader layout on iPhone: Moved share, display settings, and metadata buttons to a new menu in the top bar, giving the page slider significantly more space on compact screens. * Automatic binding direction detection: shelff now reads the binding direction embedded in PDF metadata and applies it automatically when no sidecar is present. * Reader menu auto-hide settings: Added two new options — automatically hide the menu on page turn, and start the reader in immersive mode. Find them in Settings > Reader. Fixed missing localizations in search UI.
