Crater Tanks brings back the classic 1990s artillery duel. Set your angle, dial in the power, read the wind, and fire. Every shot carves a crater into the hillside, and every miss hands the turn to your rival.
Up to ten tanks share one battlefield. Pass the device around for a hot-seat match with friends, fill the empty seats with computer opponents, or go solo against a full lineup of six AI personalities, from the wild-shooting Rookie to the Warlord, who accounts for wind and ricochets before every shot.
Key Features:
• Destructible Terrain: Explosions blast craters, loose ground crumbles and settles, and tanks perched on the edge tumble down with the hill.
• 20 Weapons: Shells and High-Explosive rounds, Kiloton and Megaton Nukes, a Laser that bounces off the borders and burns away armor, Worms that tunnel through the earth, Dirt Bombs and the Digger for reshaping the map, Mines, Missile Strikes and Air Raids, plus aiming guides and shields to protect your tank.
• Earn and Spend: Every hit and every victory pays out. Between rounds, visit the shop and stock up on firepower for the next battle.
• Battle Settings: Choose wind from calm to gale, turn rebounding walls on or off, show or hide shot trails, decide whether tanks fall when the ground beneath them is blasted away, and whether computer players shop too.
• Five Sceneries: Fight at Night, in the Day, at Sunrise, at Sunset, or in the Desert, or let the game pick at random.
• Six Computer Opponents: Rookie, Novice, Raider, Jackal, Savant, and Warlord, each with a distinct style.
• Retro Style: Authentic DOS-era VGA graphics, beveled panels, and chunky pixel explosions.
• iCloud Sync: Your game settings follow you across all your devices.
Optional in-app purchases: coin packs, and the Elite Arsenal, a one-time unlock for seven elite weapons, including the Neutron Bomb, Missile Strike, and Air Raid.
