WatchGrid - Watch Tracker
Organize your Watch Collection
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Manage every detail of your collection, stay organized, and understand what truly gets wrist time - private and secure at all times.
Organize Your Watch Collection
Add watches with brand, model, reference number, serial number, movement type, case material, dial color, strap details, and case size.
Track Every Detail
Store purchase prices in your preferred currency, attach multiple photos per watch, and keep certificates, warranty cards, and receipts organized with the built-in document manager. Set a primary photo for each watch and browse your full gallery in detail.
Know What You Wear
Log which watch you wear each day with the Wear Calendar. Browse past months, see your streaks, and discover patterns in your rotation. The monthly summary shows exactly how often each piece gets wrist time.
See the Big Picture
The Statistics dashboard gives you a clear view of your collection: total value, most worn watches with bar and pie charts, brand distribution, price ranges, average cost, and value breakdown by brand.
Widgets for Your Home Screen
Three beautiful widgets keep your collection at your fingertips — Today's Watch shows what's on your wrist, Wear Streak tracks your logging consistency, and Next Pick suggests a random watch from your collection. Available in small, medium, circular, and rectangular sizes.
Meetup Mode
Showing your collection to friends? Meetup Mode instantly hides prices, sold watches, wear data, and anything else you'd rather keep private. Fully customizable — choose exactly what to show.
Organize Your Way
Filter by Collection, Sold, Wishlist, or Archive. Switch between grid and list views. Reorder watches manually. Search by brand, model, or reference number.
Sync & Backup
Connect a folder in iCloud Drive for automatic syncing across devices. Export and import your full collection as JSON anytime. Your data, your control.

more You can feel the devs are collectors themselves. It’s the best watch wear tracking and collection stats app out there. The way feedback is incorporated in new releases is amazing. The app is sleek and logical to use and with the speed of improvements it will surely get even better over time.

Monthly Recap & Share Studio
- »New addition« now uses the purchase date, so watches added later show up in the right month (Thx, Flo!)
1.5.7 Oct 4
- Lug-to-Lug: Record the lug-to-lug measurement of your watches — shown in the specifications and included in all backups and CSV exports. (Thx, Flo!)
- Share Studio: The wrist-time leaderboard in the Monthly Recap now supports more time ranges — Month, Last 6 Months, This Year, Last Year, and Overall.
- Watch Details: The Specifications box is hidden when no specs have been entered yet.
- Statistics: Removed the non-functional time-range filters from the Collection tab.
- German: Added translations for Case Thickness, Lug Width, Water Resistance, and Manufactured.
1.5.6 Sep 30
- Weekly Recap: a new Share Studio template that lists every watch you wore in a week, with day-by-day markers and wear counts. Pick any of the last 16 weeks. (Thx, Flo!)
- Safer data storage: WatchGrid now creates a backup of your database before every launch and never discards your data if the store can't be opened.
- German localization fixes, including Cost per Wear (Market Value). (Thx again, Flo!)
- Bug fixes and performance improvements.
1.5.5 Sep 16
Share Studio: Your Monthly Recap just got smarter. The »Top by wrist time« leaderboard now supports different time periods. Pick a specific month, this year, or last year to see which watches really earned their wrist time.
New in this update:
- Leaderboard periods: Month, This Year, and Last Year
- The selected period is shown right on the card
Like WatchGrid? A quick review helps a lot!
1.5.4 Sep 7
New: Service Log (Thx, Franzi!)
Keep the full maintenance history of every watch in one place.
- New Service tab on each watch: Log full services, movement work, battery changes, water resistance tests, regulation, polishing, gasket and crystal replacements, strap swaps and repairs
- See your last service at a glance, plus the total you've spent on maintenance
- Set a reminder date for the next service. Overdue entries are highlighted
- Record the watchmaker or service center, the cost in your currency, and free-text notes
- Tap any entry to edit it, long-press to delete
- Service history is included in JSON backups and in the CSV export, so nothing gets lost
1.5.3 Aug 26
Good morning watch nerds! Update to the statistics filters:
The period filters are now one-tap chips right under the Wear / Collection / Value tabs.
- A horizontal row of chips: All, This Month, Last Month, This Year, Last Year - always visible, tap to apply instantly.
- The selected chip fills solid with semibold text; the rest sit in soft outlined capsules. Selection animates with a spring and fires a light haptic.
- If you pick a custom range in the filter sheet, an extra chip appears showing the actual dates, and the row auto-scrolls the active chip into view.
The old filter bar below now only shows status chips (Collection / Sold / Archive) with its clear button, since the time range is no longer duplicated there.
1.5.2 Aug 24
Export your collection as a spreadsheet.
- New CSV export: every watch with its specs, purchase price and current value in one file. Opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, so it's easy to hand over to your insurance. Includes case size, thickness, lug width, water resistance, limited edition info, storage location, wear count and last worn date.
- Fixed: the JSON export sometimes opened a blank share screen instead of your file.
- A few more hidden surprises for owners of certain reference numbers.
1.5.1 Aug 13
Fixed and improved the Monthly Recap (Share Studio)! (Thx, Ralf!)
1.5.0 Aug 1
- Monthly Recap, your way: In Share Studio you can now pick exactly which blocks appear on your Monthly Recap card: Most Worn, Least Worn, New Addition, Sold, Days Logged and Top by Wrist Time.
- Limited Editions: Mark a watch as a limited edition and note its number (e.g. 10 of 25).
- Statistics: Wear Streaks moved to the top, and Most Worn lists now expand to show everything.
- Smarter reminders: No more daily nudge if you've already logged a watch for today.
- Meetup Mode: The (newly introduced) banner no longer overlaps navigation buttons.
1.4.0 Jul 29
- Meetup Mode now shows a discreet banner at the top of the app so you always know when prices and sensitive info are hidden
- Added two new spec fields: Case Thickness (mm) and Water Resistance (ATM)
- Storage Location is now only shown for watches in your Collection — hidden when adding to Wishlist or Sold
1.3.9 Jul 8
- Share Studio: The SOTC poster now shows your entire collection
- »See all« buttons in Statistics let you expand the full Most Worn and Most Worn Brand lists (thx, Simi)
- Movement and Case Material no longer have defaults when adding a watch, so you won't accidentally save the wrong spec (thx, Raf!)
- »Tuning Fork« added as a movement type
- The brand database now includes »DUG Glashütte«
- Photos are now at the top of the Add/Edit form for quicker access
- Storage Locations chart in Statistics respects your privacy setting
- Wear logging now highlights the model name instead of the brand
- Small polish throughout
1.3.7 Jul 2
- Storage Locations: Track where each watch lives. Assign your timepieces to Home, Deposit box, or create your own custom locations. Find them at the bottom of every watch's detail page, and see a new pie chart in Statistics showing your collection's distribution by location. REMEMBER: No data is shared with us - everything is safe on your phone / in your own folders. (Thx to whoever suggested this, i forgot)
- Custom locations are fully manageable from Settings — add, rename, or delete any location. Renaming a location automatically updates all watches assigned to it.
- Added a limited edition feature for your watch collection. (Thx, @mtcosmic!)
- The watch detail page has been refreshed with a cleaner info card grouping reference number, completeness, and location details.
- Share Studio: Choose which month to show for your monthly summary
1.3.6 Jun 13
Accuracy tracking comes to WatchGrid - plus a smoother, faster collection.
- Accuracy Tracking (Pro): Track how well each of your watches keeps time. Log timing runs and see daily rate, variance, and an overall fit quality score for every piece. (Thx, Jonas!)
- Accuracy in Statistics: Your Collection stats now include accuracy insights alongside value and wear data.
- Accuracy Share Template: A brand-new template in Share Studio to show off any watch's accuracy in a clean, shareable card.
- Optional & Yours to Control Turn Accuracy tracking on or off anytime in Settings.
- Smoother & More Stable: Major performance work across the Collection, Statistics, and Wear tabs. Photos now load faster and use far less memory, fixing crashes some of you ran into while scrolling. (Thx, @timebyraf!)
1.3.5 May 29
Added a »Sold To« text field in the Sale Details section.
Share Studio: Moved the »On the wrist today« headline down so it sits right above the photo with a small gap, instead of floating at the top of the canvas.
1.3.4 May 28
Selecting an image from the gallery works again. Sorry about that! (Thx, Phil!)
1.3.3 May 26
- The wear log entries now support long-press to delete via a context menu, in addition to swipe-to-delete. (Thx, @watches.heic)
- Added a NWA (New Watch Alert) template in the Share Studio. (Thx, @WatchWanja)
1.3.2 May 26
- Added the ability to take photos and scan documents directly with your camera. (Thx, @er_watchguy)
- Share Studio: Updated "Newest Addition" to use the watch's purchase date (the date you bought it) instead of the date it was added to the app. If no purchase date is set, it falls back to the add date so it still shows something. (Thx, @WatchWanja)
- Fixed a dark mode issue (Thx, @nuewatchguy)
1.3.1 May 21
This is a big one!*
- Share Studio
A new (experimental) feature! Under Statistics you now have a new feature called »Share Studio«. This will help you turn your watch collection into beautiful, ready-to-post visuals (for Instagram, for example).
- App Icons: You can now choose between seven app icons.
- Added »Wearing this today« to the long-press context menu on collection items. It only appears for watches with status Collection, toggles a wear log for today, and shows »Worn today« with a checkmark if already logged (Thx, @koolpep_watches!).
- Added a »Check on Chrono24« link below the reference number for wishlist watches with a reference number.
- Added a Realized P/L row to the Sale Info section on sold-watch detail. Shows the gain/loss in green/red plus the percentage vs. purchase price, mirroring the Statistics calculation.
- Reordered the tabs in Collection and Add/Edit Watch to move Wishlist before Sold.
- Fixed the wear-stats sync bug.
And as always, I'd love to hear your feedback!
