What's new in 2.5.0 • AI Hub (optional): today's meal ideas for your baby's stage, a day-by-day meal planner from your own list, a stool colour check against the official colour card, and a 7-day overview of your diary. For reference only — it does not replace your doctor. • Pumping: a timer for each side, an optional goal, and every session in your diary. • Milk stash: track bags in the fridge and freezer, with the use-by date for each one. • Stool colour on diaper changes: pick the colour right when you log a dirty diaper. • A refreshed Solids page with suggested menus. • New app icon and a cuter icon set throughout the app. Fixes: time gaps on the day view show in your language, and long titles no longer get cut off.

What's new in 2.4.0 • Solids roadmap based on official CDC guidance. See at a glance how many meals, how much and which textures for each stage, with real photos, a typical day of food and a self-feeding guide. • "Meals by day": every solid meal your baby has had, day by day, with the foods named. • Sleep at a glance: a 24-hour line for each of the last 7 days shows exactly when your baby slept. The day view uses the same line. • While your baby sleeps, Home shows a sleeping card with the time so far. Tap "Baby woke up" right there — you'll be asked to confirm first. • A little note each time your baby turns another month old, and a special one on their first birthday. • Change the app language in Settings. New: Bahasa Melayu. • Solids, faster: type what your baby ate like a note — "carrot, banana" — and save. Fixes: food diary counts are accurate again, baby profile edits sync to your family's phones, and sleep totals keep counting while your baby sleeps.

What's new in 2.3.0 • Vaccines: a reference schedule for your country, with a reminder the day before each appointment. • Baby leaps: a 20-month timeline that shows which weeks may be fussy, what's changing and how to help. • A new Today screen: time since the last feed, nap and diaper, and one tap to log anything. Also: editable naps and diapers in History, Spanish and Italian, faster iCloud sharing, and fixes.

The backlog still lives on the fridge door. For this release the PM wrote one line on it, larger than all the others: "It has to show up on my phone too." ICLOUD SYNC Now it does. Log it on one device, open the other, it is there. No account, no sign-up — the app uses your own iCloud. SHARING ONE BABY Next request: "Let grandma see." Send an invite, she accepts, she logs a feeding and you see it right away. Whether to turn it on, who to share with, when to wipe it all from iCloud — that is yours to decide. MILESTONES The question asked most often in this house: "Why has she been so fussy these last few days?" There is now a timeline counted from the due date, marking the weeks babies usually find hard, and showing where yours stands this week. The WHO growth curves have moved in next door. ONE TAB FEWER The PM's note: "History and Insights are two places I always open together." So they are one now. The list shows the month as well, because after scrolling for a while you no longer knew which month you were in. FASTER SOLIDS Someone wrote in to say it took too many steps. Picking a food is optional now — enter the amount and you are done. Settings rebuilt. You can delete a baby's profile. Traditional Chinese added. And one fix: the app chose its language from your country instead of your device language. The dev had heard about this from the PM more than once.

This app has a PM and a dev. The PM is my wife, the dev is me, and the backlog lives on the fridge door. SLEEP TRACKING Bug report, filed at 2am: "Wait, when did she fall asleep?" So now there is a sleep timer. One tap to start, pause when the baby stirs and settles again. Forgot to tap? Enter it by hand, with quick picks for 30 minutes, 45 minutes, an hour. DIAPER TRACKING Next request, short and clear: "Log diapers too." Wet, dirty, or both. Three taps and done. A HISTORY YOU CAN READ AT A GLANCE The PM wanted to open the app and understand yesterday immediately. Every day now has a 24-hour strip with feeds, sleep and diapers on it. Logged something twice? Swipe left to delete. NOTIFICATIONS FOR FAMILY They used to cover feeds only. Now they cover diapers, sleep and solids too, so whoever is at work still knows what just happened at home. One fix: notifications sometimes did not show up. The dev has apologised to the PM.

Big news from the MilkyLog household: our little one has officially graduated to solid foods! One day it's all milk, the next there's mashed banana on the ceiling. So naturally, we built a feature for it. NEW: SOLID FOOD LOGGING Track your baby's first bites right alongside milk feeds — what they ate, how much, and how it went (spoiler: mostly on the bib). Perfect for spotting favorites, trying new foods, and remembering that legendary broccoli day. NEW: BACKUP & RESTORE Getting a new phone? Back up your entire feeding history and restore it on another device in a couple of taps. Your memories (and data) move with you. FRESH NEW LOOK We gave the whole app a makeover: cleaner, calmer, and easier on tired eyes at 3 AM. Same one-tap logging you love, just prettier. As always, everything stays on your device — no account, no fuss. Thanks for growing along with us. Happy feeding (and happy cleaning)!

Took the little one to the checkup last week — the doctor walked us through the growth charts, explained what the weight and height percentiles mean, and how to tell if things are on track. I figured instead of keeping that paper handout, why not build it right into the app? This update adds a Growth Chart screen with WHO standard weight and height tracking. You can log measurements, see where your baby falls on the reference curves, and get a simple normal/low/high status so you always know at a glance. The Today screen now shows the latest numbers too, so your partner can check in without digging around.

MilkyLog v1.2.0 After considering some factors beyond engineering, we decided to rename the app to MilkyLog. Sounds pretty decent. This version includes a few updates: 1. Switched to a trendy red color (not entirely sure what it’s called, so let’s just say “trendy red”), and adjusted the UI to look more like a proper mobile app (hopefully...). 2. Added family sharing. One person logs a feeding, the other gets notified. Coming home and not knowing when the last feeding was is no longer a problem. 3. Updated the widget to make it less plain. You can now add your baby’s name and photo, so opening your phone feels a bit more meaningful. 4. Added more info to the Insight tab. Hopefully it helps… interpretation may vary. And that’s it for this version. Things like backup and restore will be… figured out later.

This app wasn’t built in a meeting room. It was built… at home. By my wife. :D One day, she said: “Why is everything in English? I don’t understand!” → Boom. Vietnamese support added. Then she said: “How do I log breastfeeding directly? This is so confusing!” → Boom. Breastfeeding timer/log feature added. A few days later, she said: “I can’t see what’s going on day by day or week by week…” → Boom. A brand-new Insights tab with charts to make everything crystal clear. So yes… every feature here passed the toughest QA in the world: My wife. If it works for her, it will probably work for you too
