Sideways Photo Fixer
Fix your old Sideways Photos
$4.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Find the sideways and upside-down photos hiding in your library and turn them right — now with a bold new look and a live scan viewfinder.
Ever scrolled through old photos and found people turned sideways or upside down? Sideways Photo Fixer scans your photo library with on-device face detection, finds the photos with orientation problems, and turns them right — fast.
One purchase, everything included — no ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases.
HOW IT WORKS
Tap Start scanning and watch the live viewfinder as the app checks every photo, oldest first. It tries multiple orientations to catch even the trickiest cases. Anything that needs turning shows up right away, with a big Fix button and a Review tab that always shows how many photos are waiting.
SMART SCANNING
- Scans your full photo library using on-device face detection
- Prioritizes the oldest and imported photos, the most common source of orientation problems
- Progress is saved automatically — close the app anytime and pick up where you left off
- Scan New Photos checks only photos added since your last scan
FIX PHOTOS YOUR WAY
- Auto Fix applies the suggested rotation with one tap
- Rotate left 90°, right 90°, or 180° by hand, with a preview before saving
- Fixes keep your photo's original format, date, location and color
- Undo anytime: open the photo in the Photos app, tap Edit, then Revert
BATCH OPERATIONS
- Select many photos and fix them all at once
- Mark photos as OK if they were flagged by mistake
STAY ORGANIZED
- Fixed photos are tracked so you can check they look right
- Photos you mark as OK are kept separately in case you change your mind
- Send any photo back to the fix list if you need to adjust it
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- All processing happens on your device — nothing is uploaded anywhere
Perfect for anyone with years of photos from old phones, digital cameras, scanners or imported collections. Stop scrolling past sideways faces — let Sideways Photo Fixer find and fix them.
