Food Rescue US
Food waste is one of the most solvable problems we face. Since 2011, Food Rescue US has been connecting surplus food with the people who need it most; coordinating thousands of rescues every week across a network that spans 27 states. We don't just build the technology. We operate food recovery sites ourselves, which means this app was built by the people who actually use it. Whether you're a volunteer, a receiving agency, or a nonprofit ready to launch or scale a food recovery operation, this is your platform.
Volunteers
Find food rescues near you, claim a pickup, and deliver it to an agency in your community. The whole process is built to be simple and fast; designed for people who are busy but still want to make a difference. For a lot of volunteers, it's about more than the rescue. It's a reason to get out of the house, connect with people in your community, and be part of something bigger than your daily routine. Food Rescue US has built a nation-wide community of people who show up, week after week, because it feels good to do something for your neighborhood alongside others who feel the same way. Track your impact over time. Earn badges. See how your rescues add up locally and across the national network. Every delivery keeps food out of landfills and puts it on the table for someone who needs it.
Receiving Agencies
Shelters, food pantries, and community organizations use Food Rescue US to receive donated food from local businesses. Complete your profile, set your preferences, and start receiving deliveries in your area. You control what you can accept, when you can accept it, and how much.
No complicated setup. No logistics headaches. Just food, routed to you by volunteers who care.
Licensees
Running a food recovery operation is complex. Food Rescue US gives nonprofits the infrastructure to do it well. Use the platform to manage volunteers, coordinate donor relationships, route food efficiently, and track impact across your entire operation.
You get the same technology powering a 27-state network, configured for your community. Whether you're launching a new site or scaling an existing program, Food Rescue US gives you the tools to grow without reinventing the wheel.
Join a network that has been doing this longer than almost anyone. The platform is ready. The community is here. The food is waiting. Join the Rescue.
