Unpaged now holds its layout at the largest text sizes. • The library header, tabs and section headings stay readable with larger text, Bold Text, Button Shapes or Display Zoom turned on. • Free book filters scroll sideways instead of squeezing together when they run out of room. • Book cards and Audiobookshelf controls no longer wrap a few letters per line. • VoiceOver now names the Settings and Import buttons.

Find the passage you saved, stop at the chapter break, and pick up your book from the Home Screen. • Search your moments across every book, by name, note, quote, character, mood, title, or author. Tap a result to play from that spot. • End of chapter sleep timer: playback pauses when the current chapter ends, even in the background. • Continue Listening widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen show your book and progress. Tap to resume. • Welcome back: return to a book after a few days and Unpaged Plus offers an on-device recap of the story so far. • Audiobookshelf downloads: save books from your server for offline listening, and keep browsing your cached library without a connection. • Browse Audiobookshelf by series, collections, authors, and narrators, and filter by Not started, In progress, or Finished. • Listening progress reaches your Audiobookshelf server reliably, even after time offline.

A smoother listen, from your shelves to your next chapter. • Choose System, Light, or Dark appearance. Your choice stays with you when you reopen Unpaged. • Keep browsing, searching, and filtering free classics while the catalog updates in the background. • Improved Audiobookshelf connections for local servers and Tailscale, with clearer connection guidance. • More reliable chapter navigation for imported books and Audiobookshelf playback. • Find Unpaged Plus directly from your library, alongside a cleaner Settings screen. This update also includes reliability fixes and polish throughout.

Free Books now feels faster from first search to finished download.

This update focuses on smarter AI, smoother free-book discovery, and playback polish. - Smarter Smart Save and Recaps: on supported devices, Unpaged can transcribe audiobook segments directly on device before falling back to the older Speech Recognition path only when needed. - More reliable AI output, with faster first analysis, better retries, clearer errors, and quote checks that help keep saved lines faithful to the audiobook text. - A calmer, more editorial Free Books browse experience with improved spacing, clearer rows, and better visual rhythm. - LibriVox samples now start after the standard intro, so it is faster to compare narrators and recordings. - Streaming playback now shows clearer loading feedback while remote audio prepares. - Onboarding now handles microphone and Speech Recognition permissions in one dedicated step instead of prompting at launch. - Small player layout and recap-state fixes.

Free Books is now easier to browse, compare, and enjoy, with a refreshed shelf-style design and smarter discovery tools. - Browse curated collections of classic audiobooks. - Filter the LibriVox catalog by genre, language, and length. - Find Other Recordings of the same book, including alternate versions and dramatic readings when available. - Preview recordings more reliably with improved sample playback. - Enjoy redesigned generated covers for books without artwork. Smart Save and recaps are also faster and more reliable on supported devices. On-device transcription can now work without asking for Speech Recognition permission first, with the legacy permission-based path still available as a fallback. Smart moments now handle quotes more carefully, warm up sooner, and show clearer errors when audio is missing or unavailable. Onboarding has been updated too: microphone and speech access are requested in the permissions scene instead of at launch, so new readers can get started with fewer interruptions. This update also includes transcription punctuation improvements, friendlier recap errors, and stability fixes throughout the app.

A fresh new chapter for Unpaged. • New welcome experience — set your listening preferences and pick your home screen in seconds. • Brand-new app icon. • Redesigned iCloud Library — a full backup browser that shows every book you've added, neatly sorted into On this iPhone, Streaming, In iCloud, and Removed, so you can always see what's safely backed up. • Customizable home tab — start on Free Books or your own library, your choice. • Faster, friendlier Settings with inline preference pickers. • More reliable free audiobook browsing, with clearer offline and "couldn't load" states. • Single-track audiobooks now show your custom title everywhere — player, mini-player, lock screen, and CarPlay — so renaming a book sticks across the app. • Stability and polish throughout.
