Get started your way. New to Chunk? Tell us whether you have a pet, like to browse, or both, and we'll set things up for you in a few taps. Dog person or cat person? Choose your mix, from only dogs to only cats or anything in between, and your feed follows. Change it anytime in Settings. You're in charge of reminders. Turn tracking and push reminders on or off for each care item. Keep flea and tick on your radar and skip the ones you've got handled. More private reminders. Your lock screen shows that a reminder is due, not what it's for. Shelter alerts, your way. Chunk Pro members can follow a shelter for exactly what they want, like senior dogs or small cats, instead of every new arrival. Plus smoother back navigation, improved alert lists, and bug fixes.

Alerts, rebuilt. Get new pets near you in one daily roundup at 4 PM, or weekly on Sundays, whichever fits. Every account with a ZIP code gets a home alert automatically. Alerts now live on one simple screen, and you can change how often you hear from us in a tap. Chunk Pro gets instant alerts. Pro members can hear about new pets as soon as they're listed, and follow favorite shelters to see every new arrival. Easier to use for everyone. Stronger text contrast, full VoiceOver support, better support for larger text sizes, and bigger buttons that are easier to tap. Smoother sign-up. Create an account and start saving pets right away. There's no email confirmation step first. Less waiting in the dark. Photo search and breed guesses now show progress while they work. Plus bug fixes and performance improvements.

Chunk is now even more reliable and polished, including a smoother sign-in experience and clearer information on pet listings.

Finding pets near you actually works now. - Chunk asks where you are when you first open the app, instead of guessing. Use your location, enter a ZIP, or browse everywhere — all three work, and you can skip location entirely. - When there aren't many pets nearby, search widens automatically instead of showing you an empty screen. - The count of pets near you is now accurate. - Search is dramatically faster. - Shuffle gives you a real mix of dogs and cats. - Your Home feed stays put while you're reading it — new pets arrive in a tap-to-load pill instead of shuffling under your thumb. - Snap Search tells you how long it's taking and lets you cancel.

Bug fixes and stability improvements

Chunk now helps you care for the pets you already have — not just find new ones. - Share with family. Invite a partner or family member to a pet's profile so everyone can see its health, care schedule, and records. - A health timeline for every pet. Log symptoms, observations, and changes over time. Edit, resolve, and keep a running history you actually own. - Your monthly recap. A warm, in-app digest of how your pet's month went — care, milestones, and more, growing richer the more you use Chunk. - A safety net in Ask Chunk. When you describe an urgent symptom, Chunk surfaces your vet's contact and emergency guidance — fast, and never in the way. - Vet Visit Summary. Export a clean PDF of your pet's health history, records, and medications to share with your vet in one tap. Plus reliability and polish throughout.

This release is all about making Chunk more reliable. We've sharpened how your pet's health records and care reminders work, so what's due and what's done is always accurate. Vet records show cleanly with no duplicates, Ask Chunk now handles photo follow-ups smoothly, and your pet alerts surface matches the moment they're found. Plus a range of fixes and refinements across the app. Thanks for being part of Chunk's early days.
