Only for iPhone
Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
SMOVECITY is your AI travel planner. Pick a curated city itinerary, make it yours, and plan the whole trip with friends in one group chat. From a weekend city break to a two-week vacation, the AI trip planner turns "where should we go?" into a ready-to-book travel itinerary in minutes.
AI TRAVEL PLANNER
Tell your AI travel buddy where you're going, when, and what you love. It builds the whole day-by-day trip itinerary: what to do, where to eat, and how to get around. Change your mind? Ask again and the plan is reworked in seconds.
CURATED ITINERARIES
Start from ready-made travel itineraries for 180+ trips across 50 countries, built by our editors from real places and events. Filter by continent, theme and length, from a weekend to a full holiday, then make any trip yours.
PLAN TOGETHER
Create a group, invite friends, vote on dates in the thread, and build one shared itinerary. Every stop shows who added it, so the whole vacation lives in one plan.
ROUTES AND MAPS
Every day comes with the route between stops on a map: walking, metro, train, bus, tram, bikes, e-scooters and ride-hail, with live times and the smartest way to get there right now.
TRAVEL GUIDE, LOCAL PICKS
Real local restaurants, bars, nightlife and events in every city, with photos, tips and maps. A city guide for the hidden gems, not the tourist traps.
BOOK IT
Compare flights and watch a fare, browse hotels, and find the best things to do, tours and attractions, all in one place.
ROAD TRIPS AND COMMUTES
Plan a road trip or a day tour, save your regular trips, and get a heads-up when it's time to leave with the route already sorted.
Plan smarter. Travel together. Explore more, with SMOVECITY.
more Your trip screen is simpler: Itinerary and Photos. Flights and your stay sit as two cards under the hero, airport rides to and from your hotel sit right under the day map with Uber and, where it runs, Bolt, and every stop can carry a photo of the place. Tap Add to Friday to browse sights, restaurants, bars and events with their pictures and add one to the day. Hotels show again, nearest first, with live prices on Hotellook. Trip reminders and messages reach your phone again. Flights and your stay now have clear buttons, today's airport ride stands out under the day map, and eSIM and luggage storage each have their own card. Edit with AI can now add or remove days, and the planner's own stops follow your app language. New here? The app now asks what you came for, a trip, your own city or a friend's invite, and takes you straight there. It no longer asks to paste from your clipboard when it first opens. A big tidy-up across the app. Routes load in about 10 seconds and show fares in the city's own currency. Search leads with destinations, the live map groups nearby vehicles, and a place without a photo shows a map with directions. Dates are picked from a calendar, and event times follow the city's clock. Emergency SOS shows the number for the country you're in. Home shows your next trip, and AI Buddy is pinned at the top of Chats.

Your profile now has three tabs, Trips, Photos and Passport, with your next trip up top. Your passport counts only places you have actually been. New trips stay private until you share them, and a trip shared with all your friends can now be made private again. The live map shows the bikes and scooters closest to you, and Ride lists the ride-hail apps in your city. Dott is back in 16 cities. Shared cars near you now show as car share and no longer count as bikes.
2.26.19 Oct 17
Small improvements to how SMOVECITY asks about notifications.
2.26.17 Oct 15
Find the people you actually travel with.
• Search for anyone on SMOVECITY by name, or by their exact email address, and send them a friend request.
• Trips belonging to someone else no longer show up among your own.
• You can now leave a trip you were added to, without asking whoever added you.
2.26.16 Oct 14
Notifications, at a moment that makes sense.
• We ask about notifications once you've planned something worth being told about — not on your first screen, before the app has earned it.
• Signed up meaning to plan a trip and didn't finish? There's a suggested weekend waiting in your Trips tab.
2.26.14 Oct 13
Rides where they really are.
• We only offer Uber or Bolt in cities where they actually operate — no more phantom cars.
• A route card now names the apps that really serve that city.
• Twelve new cities: Bali, Delhi, Cairo, Cusco, Amman, Tbilisi, Ljubljana, Sofia, Antalya, Izmir, Bodrum and Cappadocia.
• We now measure which screens and steps get used, so we can fix what gets in the way. Never your name, your email or the words you type, and chats are never recorded. We tell you once, and you can switch it off any time in Settings.
2.26.13 Oct 10
Find anything. Decide together.
• Search inside a conversation — including older messages you haven't scrolled to.
• Polls now work in direct chats, not just groups.
• Chats open on your newest messages.
• A message appears the moment you send it.
• Tap a friend's invite and you're connected straight away.
• Pin the messages a chat keeps coming back to.
2.26.11 Oct 5
Chats open the moment you tap them.
• Your conversation is there straight away, with the right name and photo.
• No more blank thread that fills in a few seconds later.
• The chat list loads faster.
• The two buttons on Home now say what they open: AI Chat and Feed.
2.26.10 Oct 2
Tag the people you were with and the places you went.
• Add friends, restaurants, bars and events to a photo — they see it too.
• A friend is asked before your photo appears on their profile.
• Tag a restaurant or bar and your picture joins its page, with your name on it.
2.26.9 Sep 30
Two things that were in your way.
• The AI Buddy message box is back. It was hidden behind the tab bar, so the screen ended in empty space with nowhere to type.
• On Rewards, the last row of cards is no longer cut off along the bottom.
2.26.6 Sep 28
Fixes that matter, and a friendlier hello.
• Chat with support opens properly again.
• Links from our trip-recap emails now open your trip — and when a link opens the app, Back always takes you somewhere.
• If your trips can't load, we tell you and let you try again, instead of showing an empty list.
• New to SMOVECITY? Smove, our city companion, asks what you came for — plan a trip, explore nearby or join friends — and takes you straight there.
• Your trip days are now named in your language.
2.26.5 Sep 26
More control over what the app does on your behalf.
• Opening a ride or scooter provider now waits for you to tap, instead of jumping out of the app on a timer — and if the provider won't open, we say so rather than leaving you wondering.
• Editing your trip with AI now shows you exactly what it proposes and lets you keep the parts you want. Nothing changes until you apply it.
• Moved a stop by mistake? There's an Undo.
2.26.3 Sep 24
Fixes for things that should simply work.
• Your name, phone number and profile photo load properly again — no more being asked to fill them in each time you open the app.
• If route search can't find a place you typed, it now tells you, instead of quietly planning from your current location or your previous destination.
• If deleting your account or sending a support message doesn't go through, you're told plainly and nothing is lost.
2.26.2 Sep 23
A tidier, steadier release.
• Curated trips now show a real photograph of each place, taken from our own city guides, and every stop sits where it belongs on the map.
• The app opens reliably even if something goes wrong while it is starting, instead of stopping at a blank screen.
• Signing out or switching accounts leaves nothing of the previous account behind on your phone.
2.26.1 Sep 17
Seven languages, and the app already knows which one is yours.
• English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian and Portuguese — every screen, not a handful.
• SMOVE.CITY follows your phone's language, and a picker in Settings lets you choose another. Your choice sticks.
• AI Buddy answers in your language. So do notifications, and the prompts asking for location, camera or photos.
• Dates, times, distances and numbers follow your language and region, and anything that goes wrong is explained in plain words.
2.26.0 Sep 14
A calmer Home, with more of your friends on it.
• See where friends are heading next, right on Home.
• Scan a venue's QR code to follow it instantly.
• A clear heads-up before you message or order from a venue that hasn't joined yet.
• Home sits on one clean rhythm, section to section.

# 2.25.13 — What's New (store listings)
iOS build 409 · Android versionCode 141 · 2026-09-11
A small, honest release. Two Home-screen fixes and nothing else, so the notes
say exactly that rather than padding it out with things that are not in the
build. Store rules kept: no mention of the other platform, no "coming soon",
nothing that is not in the build. Under 4,000 characters everywhere; Play caps
release notes at 500 characters per language, so the Play text is the short
block.
Contents: the empty band between the Home sections is gone, and the card that
shows where friends are traveling is no longer white on white.

Scan a venue's QR code and you now land straight on that venue's page, already following it — the menu, the WiFi and their offers, without hunting for them.
Venues that we added ourselves, and whose owner has not claimed them yet, now say so before you place a pickup order or send a message, so you know whether anyone is on the other end.
Your friends' upcoming trips now appear on Home, so you can see where people you know are heading.
2.25.12 Sep 11
A cleaner app, and search that finds the place you mean.
• Every screen redrawn: white cards and fields with fine edges instead of grey blocks, one orange used only where you can act, and real space between sections.
• Titles are larger where a screen begins and settle out of the way as you scroll.
• A newly planned trip picks named restaurants and sights from our own city guides, so the day route map and travel times are back.
• Search finds named places from the map near you, like a gym, a pharmacy or a shop, with a Directions row; look-alike results from other countries no longer crowd the list.
• Airport and stadium rides open Uber directly, with the drop-off already set.
2.25.11 Sep 10
Things to do, from our own city guides — and a warmer look.
• Things to do on a trip now lists attractions and restaurants from our own city guides: real places with their own photos and opening hours, each opening its page in the app.
• Plan a trip shows all 195 cities, A to Z, with the popular ones first — and search finds any of them.
• Discover: the best-bars and best-restaurants shelves have room to breathe.
• The whole app now uses the SMOVECITY orange for buttons, chat bubbles and highlights.
• The scan button left the Home screen, and a few back buttons now always take you somewhere.
2.25.7 Sep 8
Search everything, and find a weekend by train, plane or bus.
• One search for everything: places, restaurants, bars, events, curated trips, local guides and your friends — from the Home screen, with typo tolerance and the nearest results first.
• Find me a weekend, rebuilt: start from any town, not an airport. We compare real train and bus timetables with flights from the airports you can reach, add an estimated stay, and rank destinations by the weekend total. Filter by train, flight or bus; set a budget per person or in total.
• When you land, one tap opens Uber with your destination already set.
• A cleaner look: cards sit on the page without outlines, event cards no longer clip their titles, and tapping Home again scrolls you back to the top.
2.25.6 Sep 7
A fresh look and a lot more to explore.
• New icon, warmer colours and a clearer hierarchy on every screen.
• Explore trips: browse 180+ curated itineraries by continent, theme and length, with destination cards for 50 countries — including four new trips in Liberia built from the tourism authority's own destinations.
• Venue pages redesigned: check in, plan a trip there, see the menu, and order on Uber Eats where a restaurant offers it.
• Flight price tracker: a full screen for every fare you watch, with the price history and where today sits.
• Real photos on curated trips and their stops, with photographers credited.
• Fixes: scrolling in the vehicle list and detail sheet, the map's More/Less toggle, and dark-mode maps.
2.25.5 Sep 5
Staying somewhere that uses SMOVECITY? Your WiFi, check-in and breakfast details are on the property's page, and you can message the front desk straight from the app.
Eating somewhere that uses it? You can message them too — to ask about a table, or to tell the kitchen about an allergy before you arrive.
Your trips now show a real photograph of the city you're heading to, for a lot more places than before.
We also went back through every screen: cards, buttons and text fields now stand out properly from the page behind them, and nothing hides under the clock when you scroll.
2.25.2 Aug 30
Events happening today now show up properly.
Discover search results scroll.
Trip titles no longer get cut off.
2.24.28 Aug 23
Spain got a lot bigger — 25 more cities, including Granada, Marbella, Benidorm, San Sebastián and the Costa resorts.
You can now track a flight price straight from the home screen, without planning a trip first. Tell us the route and dates, and we'll let you know when the fare drops.
Finished a trip? The recap card is now a button in the trip header instead of hiding in a menu, and it's built on a photo of the city rather than a plain background.
