Fixed the map snapping back to your location or zooming in/out on its own — pan around and explore other areas freely now. Also updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for more clarity.

What's new in 1.3.5 • Ask for anything: post what you're looking for and nearby sellers send you offers • Flash Drops: fresh featured deals every day • A feed that shows what you look for first (switch it off in Profile) • Send an offer from any product or service, and share listings to your Story • Redesigned chats with deal progress, quick replies and stickers • Stay signed in longer, even after updates

This update focuses on stability and speed: • Fixed crashes and freezing some users saw while browsing the map • Fixed an issue that could cause the app to lose connection unexpectedly • General performance and reliability improvements Thanks for using MaDeals!

We squashed some stubborn bugs this update: Fixed product and job details pages sometimes failing to open Fixed messages, notifications, and live updates occasionally getting stuck after a spotty connection — they now recover reliably General performance and stability improvements across the app Smoother pinch-to-zoom on the map Thanks for using MaDeals — keep the feedback coming!

Faster, smoother, and fairer. • No more startup freeze. We fixed the hang some phones hit on launch, and the stutter while your feed loads — the app comes up clean now, even on older Androids. • Tell sellers what you want. The reverse marketplace is front and centre: post what you're looking for and let offers come to you — now with live "who's online" and a countdown. • Auctions play fair. You can no longer bid against yourself to push the price up. • Things that used to hang now just work: seller profiles, the services feed, completing a barter, marking an order sold, and accepting a job. • Safer deals: clearer scam warnings and a new-seller badge so you know who you're dealing with. • Sharper, faster images, plus video stories that keep your caption on screen while paused. • Reliable chat read receipts and calls that no longer get stuck after a decline.

This update is all about the app feeling right when you open it. We fixed a problem that could make MaDeals freeze or show "not responding" on startup, and photos now load noticeably faster on that first screen. On the map, every listing is now its own pin — the grouped number bubbles are gone, so you can see exactly what's where. We also fixed the home screen showing only services when there was nothing listed close to you.

Faster, sharper, safer. Photos load dramatically faster Listing images are now up to 8× smaller and noticeably sharper, and you'll see a preview of every photo the instant the list appears instead of waiting on a blank square. Reopening the app now loads from your device rather than downloading everything again. Your feed learns what you're looking for MaDeals now pays attention to what you search for and open, and moves similar listings nearer the top. It stays on your phone — nothing about your browsing is uploaded — and it fades as your interests change. Reply to messages, properly Long-press any message and hit Reply. The message you're answering is quoted right in the chat, so conversations about a price or a meeting point are easy to follow. Stories: captions and clearer replies Add a caption before you post, and see it clearly over any photo. When someone replies to your story, the chat now shows which story they meant — tap it to open. A Verified tab Browse listings from businesses that have passed council-licence and ID verification. Better map search Searching now takes you straight to the nearest matching listing instead of covering the map with a list. The recenter button also actually centres on you now. Scam protection MaDeals warns you when a message asks you to pay before you collect — the most common scam on any marketplace. New sellers are marked, so you know who you're dealing with. Fixes Smoother scrolling, no more lag when opening the app, and the layout now holds together properly at larger text sizes.

What's New • Save a search and get notified the moment new matching listings appear • Follow your favorite sellers to know instantly when they post something new — manage who you follow from your profile • More accurate location handling, so location-based search (including in MaDeals AI) works reliably • Smoother, faster map browsing, especially in busy areas • Various bug fixes and stability improvements
