AmuzeRide Transit turns your iPhone into a high-performance, secure optical transit pass built on the open Universal Ticketing Agent (UniTiAg) standard. Designed for transit riders, public transit authorities, and ticketing stakeholders, the app provides a seamless, privacy-first scan-and-go experience at any compatible optical transit validator.
By decoupling transit entitlement from physical plastic cards and bank-issued payment media, AmuzeRide Transit lets passengers travel with cryptographically secured, dynamic optical credentials—eliminating paper waste and physical card maintenance while preserving passenger privacy.
ANTI-FRAUD OPTICAL ARCHITECTURE
To prevent screen captures, duplicate passes, and replay attacks, AmuzeRide Transit implements a native dynamic verification protocol:
- Time-Stamped Electronic Signatures: Every generated QR code contains a dynamic, cryptographically signed timestamp payload. This guarantees that static screenshots, forwarded images, or replicated QR tokens are instantly detected and rejected by optical transit validators.
- Instant Offline-Capable Validation: Because validation relies on local cryptographic verification of the signed token payload at the turnstile, optical capture and pass authorization occur locally at the gate without requiring real-time internet connectivity or payment gateway latency.
CORE CONCEPTS: OTRB & CRD TOKEN
The app connects a cloud-managed Open-To-Ride Balance (OTRB) with a local Contactless-Rider Device (CRD) Token:
- Anonymous & PCI DSS-Free Architecture: The mobile app stores exclusively an encrypted, device-native CRD token. No personal identity records, banking details, cardholder data, or Primary Account Numbers (PAN) ever touch or reside on the device.
- Decoupled Balance Management: Fares and OTRB top-ups are cleared and administered upstream through participating web portals, transit marketplaces, and clearing services (such as AmuzeBuy).
- Zero Verification Friction: The app operates as an entitlement carrier. During boarding, the rider simply presents the QR pass—no login steps, identity checks, or live account interactions are ever required at the gate.
