Mayday: Food Allergy Card
Translate abroad, 38 languages
$0.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Traveling with food allergies? Pick your allergens, choose the local language, and show a card any waiter can read. Completely offline.
Traveling with a food allergy means trusting a stranger, in a language you don't speak, with something that can send you to hospital.
Mayday makes that moment simple. Pick your allergens, choose the local language, and show a clear, translated card to the waiter. No internet. No gestures. No guessing.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Select your allergens — 37 to choose from, across 6 categories
2. Pick the language of the country you are in — 38 available
3. Tap a card to open it full screen, at maximum brightness, ready to hand over
WHAT'S INSIDE
• 37 allergens: peanuts, tree nuts, almonds, cashews, sesame, shellfish, fish, shrimp, milk, egg, lactose, gluten, wheat, soy, celery, mustard, sulfites, and more
• 38 languages across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa — from Japanese and Arabic to Thai, Finnish and Swahili
• Every card is a complete sentence written for restaurant staff, not a word-for-word allergen list
• High contrast and readable at arm's length, in a dim and noisy dining room
BUILT FOR TRAVEL
• 100% offline — works in airplane mode, on a train, in a village with no signal
• No account, no sign-up, no tracking. Your allergies never leave your device
• Nothing to set up before you fly: choose once, and your card is ready
WHO IT IS FOR
Celiacs in Tokyo. Nut allergies in Bangkok. Lactose intolerance in Istanbul. Anyone who has ever pointed at a menu and hoped for the best.
If a phrase does not read right in your language, write to us and we will correct it quickly.
Mayday is not a medical device and does not replace medical advice. Always carry your prescribed medication.
