AND MORE • Kids mode, accessibility improvements and up to 3 nickname changes. • Images are stored on your device for a faster app. Many bug fixes.

With this version, everything from your friends reaches you as a notification. • Notifications — Stay in the loop even when the app is closed: new messages, friend requests and acceptances, race invites, your opponent's progress and race results, and likes on your quotes. Notifications play your device's default notification sound. • In-app alerts — While you're using the app, new messages, friend requests and race updates appear at the top of the screen with just a gentle vibration. Tap one to jump straight to that chat or screen. • Messages — Each new message from the same person updates the alert. You won't be notified about the chat you have open, and opening a chat clears its notifications. • Friend requests and acceptances show up instantly, with no need to restart the app. On book pages: • New "I've Read This Book" button: add a book to your library without having to rate it. • "Set Goal" is now on every book page, including books opened from the Activity feed, Shared Books or a friend's library. Also new: • Tap a reader in the rankings to message them or add them as a friend. • Tapping a popular book opens its page directly. • Pick a category when adding a book manually. • Book share links are now short and show a preview with covers in messaging apps. Friends without Pagely can view the list in their browser. • The Shared Books screen now has a Discover button next to each book that opens its page. • You can now delete your own quotes from the book page, Discover and the Activity feed. • The classic home screen style has been removed. Pagely now always opens with the new home screen. Fixes: • Fixed the Activity feed appearing empty for some accounts. It now also shows your friends' earlier activity. • Fixed text overflowing or getting cut off in yearly and monthly reading reports, in every language. • Fixed book descriptions sometimes showing in English when one in your language was available. • "Active Goals" on your profile now counts only the books you're currently reading. • Fixes for removing friends and the friends list. • The notification setting in Profile now turns off all notifications. • Fixed account settings being lost after reinstalling the app.

Pagely gets social in this version. • Friend feed — See what your friends added, finished and rated, and how many pages they read today, all in one feed. Your own progress shows up there too. • Messaging — Chat directly with your friends and with readers you find on the leaderboard. You can remove a chat from your own list anytime. • Quotes — Share a quote from the book you're reading. Quotes appear on the book's Discover page, and more load as you scroll. • Profile photo — Show your own photo on the leaderboard and on your quotes. Also new: • Book descriptions now arrive in your phone's language. • The "Listen" tab is now "Read & Listen" — the section is for both. • Tapping a book in your library opens the book details straight away. • Jump from book details to the Discover page instantly, with no wait. • Long press a cover in a friend's library to open that book in Discover. Speed and stability: • The app launches noticeably faster. • Fixed the freezes when opening a book and when deleting one from your library. • Fixed books not being found in Discover.

Fixed several issues that could cause the app to crash.

Pagely has been rebuilt from the ground up. THE COMMITMENT MODEL IS GONE You are never charged for missing a goal. No fee for a missed day, an unfinished book or a broken streak, and no feature is restricted as a penalty. Every reading feature is free. DISCOVER The green button in the bottom bar now opens Discover. Search by title, author or ISBN, or scan a barcode. Without searching at all, see the books most read and most challenged this week. Each book shows its details, its reader rating and how many people are reading it right now. Save it to your want-to-read list, rate it, or challenge a friend over it. SEASONS AND THE SEASON PASS Complete goals across eight-week seasons, unlock reward tiers, and grow your mascot from a sapling into a tree. The Season Pass is optional and paid once. STATISTICS Rebuilt: a breakdown by book, a 30-day curve, and a page of its own for every book. Books you delete still count in your statistics. LIBRARY Select several books at once to hide or delete them, and bring hidden ones back whenever you want. Your notes and summaries now travel with your account, with no character limit. ALSO Mark a book as already read without setting a goal. Manage friends from the new Friends tab in the bottom bar. The leaderboard now ranks by your current streak. Dozens of fixes throughout.

Season Pass is here: eight-week seasons, reward tiers, and a mascot that grows from a sapling into a tree as you read. Statistics have been rebuilt. You now see how your reading breaks down by book, a curve of your last 30 days, and a full record for every book — down to which days of the week you read. Every reading feature is free. You are never charged for a goal you miss.
