Version 2.4.0 gives IQ Testim a brand-new look. • New 3D look: each of the 14 games has its own 3D icon, the 17 collectible stickers are now 3D, and the mascot joins you at the welcome, level-up, streak milestone, Mistake Notebook and Weekly Program moments. • The daily chest now really opens: the lid of the wooden, silver or gold chest lifts and your reward follows. The tier is purely cosmetic; the contents are the same every day. • Reward moment: your XP and day streak count up into place, the level ring fills and new stickers pop in. Today's progress shows as rings on the Home screen. • A short, calm cue for a correct answer in practice; a wrong answer is never shaken or punished. • Focused Practice: tap the suggested "weakest category" card to start practising right away. • On iPad, the Training, Weekly Program, Mistake Notebook and Practice screens use a comfortable reading width; titles that were cut off in some languages are fixed. • With Reduce Motion on, animations and videos don't play; everything appears in its final state. None of this affects the scored test or your IQ score, and the test screen has no motion.

Version 2.3.0 brings everything since 2.1.0: a personal training routine, new techniques to learn, a puzzle for every day, and your Home Screen. • Mistake Notebook: questions you get wrong in practice and in the daily question come back after 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days, at most 8 a day. It only feeds practice; it never affects the scored test or your IQ score. • Weekly Program: a flexible weekly workout built from your own history. You choose 2–5 sessions a week (3 by default); tasks have no day and no deadline. If no clear weak spot shows up, it becomes an "exploration week". It doesn't affect the scored test. • Intelligence Academy: 40 short lessons of about 2 minutes each. Mental arithmetic, numerical reasoning, number sequences, logic, counting and probability, memory, spatial thinking and test strategy. Each lesson has a brief explanation, a worked example, a try-it step and practice questions. An honest note: these are techniques for practising specific skills; they are not proven to raise general intelligence, and they don't affect your IQ score. • Puzzle of the Day: everyone gets the same puzzle on the same calendar day. Sudoku and Code Breaker alternate, and difficulty climbs from easy to hard through the week. No server needed. You can share your result; the shared text never contains the answer, the code or any cell values. • 4 new games: Mini Sudoku (4×4 and 6×6), Code Breaker, Tower of Hanoi and Mini KenKen (4×4 and 6×6). The app now has 14 games. • Widgets: the Plan widget shows your day streak and today's plan, and the Puzzle of the Day widget shows today's puzzle. They work on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen; tap one to open the matching screen. Widgets only read a few counters and nothing leaves your device. • Siri and Shortcuts: 3 actions. Open the Puzzle of the Day, open today's plan, start the next lesson. They only open the app. • Honesty: without real norm data we don't show percentiles. Your results are shown with a confidence interval.

Version 2.1.0 focuses on three things: the connection error, question quality, and small rewards that make coming back each day easier. • The "no internet" message is fixed. Every problem used to show the same warning. The app now tells apart being offline from the server not responding. Failed requests are retried automatically, and if a test finishes without a connection, its result waits on your device and is sent once you are back online. • The question pool was reviewed: about 40 faulty questions were corrected and 3 were removed. 155 new questions were added. They are not yet calibrated, so they do not appear in the scored test; you will meet them in practice, the daily task and the speed round. • Questions are available in five more languages: English, German, French, Spanish and Arabic. Turkish grammar questions cannot be translated, so they are not asked in other languages. • For every day: a day streak with streak protection, XP and levels, a daily chest, today's 3 tasks, setting your own bar, 17 stickers, streak milestones and a personal-record celebration. • First-launch warm-up: 3 unscored questions you can skip. The result screen now ends with a "next step" suggestion and a share card. • A short opening animation and greetings that follow the time of day; a welcome page on first launch; new artwork for badges. • Child and teen privacy: accounts under 13 send nothing to the server and challenges are off. For ages 13–15, features that send data to the server ask for a parent's approval. Before joining a challenge, a consent screen explains what will be sent. • Challenge links (iqtestim.com/challenge/...) were fixed so they open the app. • Tap targets now meet the 44-point minimum.

The main job of this update is to fix the tap problem you reported, at its root. • Touch targets: the problem was not how the buttons looked but how much of them was tappable. Main action buttons like "Start" and "Create Challenge" measured 17–21 points of tappable height; Apple's minimum is 44. A button that looked large only responded on the text in its middle. Twenty buttons across the app and every row in the profile are fixed. • Challenges actually work now: the shared link led to no page at all, and the line breaks in the message showed up as plain text. The link now opens the app directly — no code to type. A new "My challenges" screen shows who you competed against, the scores and the outcome. • Profile character: instead of a photo you can pick one of the mascot's fifteen expressions or one of the twelve Mind Crew members. • Games are ordered by your age: visual games first for children, memory and pattern first later in life. No game is hidden — only the order changes. • A more honest result screen: the confidence interval is now drawn as a band, so you can see the measurement is a range and not a point. The category breakdown says how many items it rests on. • The progress bar during the test was wrong: the test ends early once the measurement is precise enough, and the bar now shows that correctly. • Reminders are scheduled on your device, based on the hours you actually open the app. That information is never sent to the server. • Contributing to measurement quality is now a separate choice: question statistics only, without your name.

This update makes the test usable by the whole family. • Test takers: you can now define more than one person on a device, so your child can take the test too. Everyone gets their own age, history, progress chart and certificate — results never mix. Only the device owner joins the leaderboard. • Buttons now respond on the first tap: close buttons were enlarged to Apple's recommended touch size and the press feedback was strengthened. • The mascot is animated: on the result screen, the home screen and the daily challenge. With Reduce Motion on, nothing plays at all. No motion during the test — so it can't disturb the measurement. • Leaderboard fixes: the weekly list now resets properly every Monday, tied scores no longer shuffle randomly, and the app tells you plainly why you're not on the list. • Notification support added (optional, asked after your first test).

New: Review your mistakes, 266 new questions, refreshed visual language **You can finally see what you got wrong and why** • After a test, tap "Review my mistakes" to go back through every question: your answer, the correct answer, and why it's correct — side by side. • Wrong answers come first; you can switch to see all questions. **266 new questions** • The pool grew from 551 to 817. You can now take 20 full tests without seeing the same question twice (it was 11 before). • New questions are weighted toward hard and very hard — high performers no longer hit a ceiling. • Expert-level questions now exist in all 12 cognitive categories for the first time. **Options are now shuffled on every test** • The correct answer's position is no longer fixed; every user sees a different order. This removes any chance of spotting a pattern instead of solving, so the score measures ability rather than pattern-spotting. **Refreshed visual language** • Achievement badges are now tiered: bronze, silver, gold, platinum. Locked badges show your progress on the badge itself. • The leaderboard's top three now get medal insignia. • A custom icon set was drawn for all 12 cognitive categories. • Your level now appears as a ring around your avatar on the profile page. • The mascot changes with context: with a book in training, a stopwatch in speed mode, a medal on certificates. • Emoji icons in the training screen were replaced with branded artwork. **Fixes** • One question had two options giving the same answer, so a user who knew the right answer could be marked wrong — fixed. • The mascot on the website now matches the character in the app.

New: A scientific scoring engine and a completely refreshed look Scoring has been rewritten from scratch: • IQ is now computed with item response theory (IRT/3PL), so each question's difficulty and discrimination feed the score separately — answering 20 easy questions correctly no longer counts the same as answering 20 very hard ones. • Your result now includes a 95% confidence interval: instead of a single number you get an honest report like "112 (105–119)" that shows the measurement error too. • Age norms: you're compared with your own age group, not with a 25-year-old. • Processing speed is no longer mixed into IQ — it's reported as its own index. • Adaptive mode is now genuinely adaptive: it re-estimates your ability after every answer and picks the question that tells us the most. On average 22 questions produce a more reliable result than the old 35-question test. The repeated-questions problem: • Questions are now selected using your history. Ones you've never seen come first, and repeats across consecutive tests dropped sharply. • If you've solved most of the pool, the app tells you upfront. New look and feel: • New app icon and a redesigned mascot that now reacts with 8 different expressions. • A custom typeface across the app (including Arabic). • Sound effects and haptics: correct, wrong, streaks and level-ups can now be heard and felt. You can turn them off in Settings. • Levelling up now shows a celebration — it used to happen silently. • Glass surfaces, transitions and button feedback were redesigned. Fixes: • Test duration was being sent to the server incorrectly — fixed. • Certificates now include the confidence interval and the method used.

New: Speed Round + Focused Practice • Speed Round: 60 seconds, score as many correct answers as you can. +10 per correct, −5 per wrong; 3 in a row unlocks a streak chip. • Focused Practice: pick one of 12 cognitive categories and run a quick 10/20/30-question drill. No IQ score — just accuracy you can track over time. • 60 brand-new questions covering memory & processing speed so every category is playable from day one. Improvements & privacy: • Sign-in-with-Apple credentials are now stored securely in the iOS Keychain. • Device identifier generation upgraded to a cryptographically secure source. • New global error handler — unexpected crashes now show a clean "Try again" screen instead of a black screen. • Faster cold start, small dead-code cleanup.
