iPhone
Built for Sikhs who want to reclaim their attention and deepen their daily connection with Waheguru.
SimranLock blocks distracting apps until you complete a moment of simran. Read Gurbani, reflect on the daily Hukamnama, or meditate on Waheguru — then unlock and scroll.
The first screen-time discipline app built specifically for the Sikh community.
HOW IT WORKS
You pick the apps that distract you — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, games. When you try to open them, SimranLock intercepts with a passage from the Guru Granth Sahib. Read it, reflect, tap confirm, and the app unlocks. Every phone pickup becomes a moment of simran.
DAILY HUKAMNAMA
Start each day with the live Hukamnama from Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar. Gurmukhi, transliteration, and English translation — delivered to your lock screen every morning at Amrit Vela.
THREE UNLOCK PATHS
• Gurbani — A curated passage from the Guru Granth Sahib matched to your mood
• Mool Mantar — The foundational verse of Sikhi for a quick 15-second pause
• Simran — A guided Waheguru meditation timer
BUILT FOR THE SANGAT
• Gurmukhi + transliteration + English translation on every passage
• Mood-matched shabads powered by AI
• Streak tracking with calendar heatmap and milestone rewards
• Nitnem time gates for Amrit Vela, Rehras Sahib, and Kirtan Sohila
• Gurmukhi learning mode — tap any word to hear pronunciation and meaning
• iOS home screen widget showing today’s Hukamnama
• Share beautiful Hukamnama cards with your Sangat

Ratings & Reviews
Introducing Ardaas — pray together.
Share a prayer with your family and Sangat, and watch the number praying with you grow in real time.
• Share an Ardaas — write a prayer or intention, send a link, and see how many are praying with you
• Add a passage — attach a Gurbani shabad that matches your prayer's mood, and tap Refresh to find the one that speaks to you
• Private by design — hide the count if you like, keep your name off, and rest easy: contact details (phone, address, links) are never published
Plus a smoother, more polished experience throughout and a range of fixes.
