Version 1.6.1 — a focused, behind-the-scenes release. What's new in this version • Performance improvements. We spent time under the hood tightening up how MojiBar starts, switches modes, and updates your menu bar and dock icons. The result is a noticeably faster, smoother experience — especially when several smart modes are active at once. • Party Mode has been removed. We've taken Party Mode out of MojiBar in this release. Existing party themes and preferences are no longer used. If you primarily relied on Party Mode, thank you — we appreciate you using it. • Smaller, leaner app. With Party Mode and its supporting components gone, MojiBar uses less memory, fewer system resources, and skips Apple Events permission prompts entirely. Day-to-day usage feels quicker and lighter on your Mac. • Cleaner Modes tab. The Modes tab is now focused on the smart modes that drive your everyday emoji — Active, Weather, Holiday, Schedule, Clock, Vibe, and Animation. Drag to reorder them however you like. • Refined Data settings. The Data section in Settings has been streamlined now that party themes are no longer part of the app. If you spot anything off after upgrading, please reach out — we read every message. What's New in v1.6 Bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements: • Weather Mode: The temperature display now updates immediately when switching between Fahrenheit and Celsius. No more waiting for a refresh — the label changes the moment you tap your preferred unit. • Animation Mode: Fixed an issue where animation style selections (Pulse, Spin, Wiggle, Float, Bounce) were unresponsive in the settings panel. All style, intensity, and trigger options now work as expected. • Menu Bar: Simplified the right-click menu by removing the Party Mode toggle for a cleaner experience. Party Mode can still be started from the Modes tab.
