Quiet Again is a sound mixer and pitch finder made for people who live with tinnitus. Match the pitch of what you hear, layer masking sounds, and make quiet moments at home, at work and at bedtime easier to settle into.
FIND YOUR PITCH
Sweep a pure tone from 1 kHz to 16 kHz in 10 Hz steps until it blends with what you hear, then save it. Frequency Finder is part of setup and free for everyone.
NOTCH THERAPY SOUND (PREMIUM)
Pink noise with a narrow band removed at the pitch you saved, generated on your device.
MIX UP TO 4 SOUNDS (PREMIUM)
Layer noise, rain, water, nature, urban and tonal sounds, each with its own volume. The free plan mixes 2. Save any mix as a preset and switch with one tap.
25 SOUNDS IN 6 CATEGORIES
- Noise: white, pink, brown, violet, grey, brown swell
- Rain: gentle rain, heavy rain, rain on roof, thunderstorm
- Water: ocean waves, river stream, waterfall
- Nature: forest birds, night crickets, wind in trees
- Urban: fan, air conditioner, train ride, train station, café, library
- Tonal: singing bowl, binaural beats, Notch Therapy
10 sounds are free. The other 15 come with Premium. The in-app release history shows when each sound was added.
12-WEEK LISTENING PLAN (PREMIUM)
A daily listening plan built around the pitch you saved, with progress for each week and a maintenance cycle after week 12.
DAILY REMINDERS
Pick a time and Quiet Again reminds you to listen.
SLEEP TIMER
From 15 minutes to 2 hours, with a gentle fade-out at the end.
KEEPS PLAYING
Sound continues when you lock your phone or switch apps. All sounds are stored on your iPhone, so they play without an internet connection.
LEARN
7 short articles on tinnitus, sound therapy, sleep, notch sound, your frequency and when to see a doctor, with references to published research.
FREE AND PREMIUM
Free: 10 sounds, 2-sound mixing, presets, sleep timer, reminders, Frequency Finder and Learn.
Premium: all 25 sounds, including Notch Therapy, plus 4-sound mixing and the 12-week listening plan.

What's new in 1.2.48:
