A new ten-day widget, three new languages, and a sharper, faster forecast. 10-day outlook widget Ten days at a glance on the Home Screen: daily highs and lows, the weather for each day, and a rain lane that shows when rain is expected rather than how hard. Available in small, medium and large — the large size puts today's hours on top and the ten-day week below. Czech, Danish and Dutch alply now speaks five languages: English, German, Czech, Danish and Dutch — throughout the app, the widgets, Live Activities and notifications. °F and mph follow your region Temperature and wind now match the region set on the device, with no switch to find: °F and mph in the US, °C and mph in the UK, °C and km/h everywhere else. App, widgets and Live Activity all agree. Sharper forecasts for your exact spot The forecast model now runs at its full 1 km resolution instead of a coarser sample. In Alpine terrain that means the numbers for the right valley. Opens faster The forecast no longer waits for the rain map to download. Conditions appear as soon as they land, and a slow connection can no longer leave the panel empty. Outside the forecast area The forecast area covers Austria and the adjoining regions. Travelling beyond it used to leave the app waiting indefinitely; it now falls back to the last covered location and says so — in widgets too — and picks your current location back up on return. Also fixed • The 10-day widget could go blank, or disagree with the app about today's high and low. • The timeline could show rain during a dry gap that the map drew correctly. • Smoother panning on the rain map.

WIDGETS A new Home Screen widget shows you how the weather will change over the next few hours. Alply Pro users can also use an adaptive widget that dynamically switches views when rain approaches. The same widgets are available for the Lock Screen. LIVE ACTIVITIES & NOTIFICATIONS Get notified when rain is approaching & track rain intensity on your Lock Screen with Live Activities. 10-DAY FORECAST Alply now supports a 10-day forecast using the ECMWF weather model (also used by GeoSphere). IMPROVED DATA SYNC Fresh radar and forecast data from GeoSphere Austria now lands even faster in your app (~1 minute after release).
