What you can do • Create a trip with a name and base currency so totals stay easy to read.
• Add friends manually or pick someone from Contacts (using Apple’s contact picker).
• Log expenses — who paid, how much, which currency — and split across the group.
• Scan receipts with the camera or choose a photo to pull details faster.
• See settlement suggestions so you know who should pay whom to balance things out.
• Invite friends by message when it fits your workflow.
Currencies
Amounts can be in different currencies; the app can use live exchange-rate data so you get a clearer picture in your trip’s base currency (rates come from a public ECB-based source).
