iPhone
Save your important places. Tap one to open Apple Maps with transit directions ready — no typing, no searching, just go.
TapGo makes public transit simple. Save your important places — Home, Doctor, Grocery Store — and reach them in one tap.
Open the app. Tap a place. Apple Maps launches with transit directions ready. No typing. No searching. No choosing between driving, walking, or transit. Just go.
YOUR PLACES, ALWAYS READY
Save a handful of destinations with names that make sense to you. Your home screen shows them as large, easy-to-tap buttons — nothing else in the way.
ONE TAP TO TRANSIT DIRECTIONS
Tap any saved place and Apple Maps opens immediately with public transit already selected and your destination pre-filled. Your current location is used as the starting point automatically.
SEND A DESTINATION
A family member or friend can send you a transit destination via iMessage. When you tap the link, it appears as a highlighted button at the top of your home screen — ready to launch directions with one tap. It disappears after you use it or after 24 hours.
BUILT FOR CLARITY
• Large, high-contrast buttons
• Plain language throughout
• Supports Dynamic Type and VoiceOver
• Available in English, Simplified Chinese (简体字) and Traditional Chinese (繁體字)

Usability improvements
- sharing destination using iMessage will compose the message with short phrases in all supported languages;
- clicking a shared destination link will always redirect the recipient user to the “Where to?” view with the shared destination displayed, even if the recipient user has previously navigated to some other view within the app;
- the shared destination is represented as a shorter URL.
