Before they arrived Any moment dated before your child's birthday now appears in its own chapter at the bottom of their album, with labels like "3 weeks before Mia was born" or "5 months before Mia was born." Add your ultrasound photos, the nursery coming together, the day you found out - the whole story, from the very beginning. A safety net for every memory Deleting a moment no longer removes it right away. Deleted moments move to Trash, where you can restore them with one tap for 30 days before they're gone for good. And in shared albums, Trash stays in sync - if a co-parent deletes something, either of you can bring it back from any device. A clearer view of syncing Tap the sync icon on your dashboard to see exactly what's pending, failed, or stuck - with the option to retry or remove anything that needs attention. A few small improvements while we work on what's next. Ages that read like a parent talks The first week of life now shows as "Newborn," weeks 1-3 count by week, and once your child turns three, months disappear from the label - so "5 years old" reads more naturally than "5 years, 8 months old." A glance at what's inside Album tiles now show a small inventory at the bottom-right of each photo: photo count, video count, and a mic icon if there's a voice note. You can see what's in a moment without tapping into it. Bug fixes Photos no longer duplicate themselves if you reopen the picker mid-upload. Editing a synced moment now preserves your photo order on save. Plus a few smaller reliability fixes behind the scenes.

Every voice note is now transcribed automatically using on-device speech recognition. You can search what was said, watch words light up as the audio plays, share favorite quotes as keepsake cards, and finally see your voice while you record it. The transcription happens entirely on your phone using Apple's speech recognition - no recordings or text are sent to a transcription service. Type "airplane" and find the recording where they said it.
