Edit right where you read, double-tap any line to start writing. • Edit on the page: headings, lists, checklists, links, quotes, and code, with the page looking just like it does when you read. • Formulas and diagrams: add one from the + menu, or tap one to edit its source with a live preview. • Your file, kept intact: changes save back to the same file in Files or iCloud — front matter, line endings and all. Leaving the document or the app saves too. • Never overwritten quietly: if a file changed somewhere else while you were editing, Dawn asks which version to keep. • Dawn now lets you know when a newer version is out.

Share as image, now with everything in it. The image card is drawn by the same engine as the reader, so math, diagrams, tables and code look exactly as they do on the page. Wide tables shrink to fit instead of being cut off. Tap a diagram to see it full screen. Pinch to zoom into the details, then tap × to return to where you were.

• Line breaks now appear the way you wrote them — a single newline starts a new line, just like in Obsidian, Bear and Notes. • Long formulas stay inside the page instead of pushing it sideways. • Diagrams grow and shrink smoothly with the text when you pinch. • Your text size is remembered from one document to the next. • A calmer library: quieter section labels that stay put as you scroll. • Documents open cleanly under the frosted header and reopen right where you left off. • Updated for iOS 27.

Images and media that live beside your document Dawn now loads images, audio, and video referenced by a relative path, .assets/cover.png, ./images/, ../shared/, and media written as raw HTML too. A file inside a folder you've added to Dawn just works. For a standalone file, Dawn explains once, opens the folder for you, and remembers it. • Pull to refresh — swipe down in your library, inside a folder, or while reading to pick up the latest from Files and iCloud. Edit a note on your Mac, pull down in Dawn, and it's there. • Math renders properly — write formulas with $…$, $$…$$, \(…\) or \[…\], and every symbol now displays correctly. • Fixed: opening a Markdown file from another app while you were already reading one could show the new file's name but the previous file's text. • Fixed: sharing a selection that contained a code block could lose its formatting.
