No energy, no hearts, no daily cap. Type any word and Membra translates it, saves it, and quizzes you right before you’d forget it. Plus real-time duels with friends.
Add the word you just saw. Then actually remember it. And if you want, challenge a friend to a duel.
Membra doesn’t force you to study from a ready-made word list. Add the words you hear in a show, see in an article, or write down in class. Membra brings them back when you’re starting to forget them.
NO LIMITS ON LEARNING
No energy. No lives. No daily lesson limits. Add as many words as you want, review as much as you want, and play as many duels as you want.
YOUR PERSONAL DICTIONARY
Type in a word and Membra detects the language, translates it, and places it on the correct side.
Each language pair has its own dictionary. Your English dictionary stays separate from your German one, and you can switch between them in a single gesture.
REVIEW BEFORE YOU FORGET
Membra uses spaced repetition to bring words back when you’re starting to forget them.
It doesn’t just ask whether you “knew” the answer. How quickly you respond, whether you use a hint, and the mistakes you make all affect when that word comes back.
There are four review modes: flashcards, multiple choice, typing, and mixed. If you have nothing due that day, you can keep going with free practice.
REAL-TIME WORD DUELS
Compete against another player in live 1v1 vocabulary battles.
When you attack, you choose the word your opponent has to answer. But don’t make it too easy — a fast answer can turn the advantage back against you. The match continues until a tower falls.
Can’t find an opponent? 11 different training opponents are waiting for you, each with their own personality, speed, and way of talking trash.
See a useful word during a match? Add it to your dictionary with one tap when the match ends.
EXAM PREP
Get a 600-word pack for YDS and YÖKDİL, IELTS Academic vocabulary, and English word packs from A1 to C2.
They’re all free and can be added to your dictionary with one tap.
BUILD THE HABIT
Daily streaks, streak freezes, daily and weekly missions, ranks, monthly leagues, and leaderboards.
Add friends, nudge them, send words, and compete for a higher spot.
LANGUAGES
Membra is available in English, Turkish, German, French, and Spanish.
You can also create your own personal dictionaries between these languages.
ONE HONEST NOTE
Membra is not a language course.
Instead of taking you through a fixed curriculum from A1 onward, it’s designed to help you collect the words you come across in real life and actually remember them.
If you want to learn your own words and stop forgetting them, you’re in the right place.

Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
A brand-new home screen
Your streak sits right at the top, big. Your dictionary, today's reviews, the word of the day, your duels and your rank among friends are all one tap away. The greetings got a rewrite too — studying at 3 a.m.? Yeah, we noticed.
A new profile
This week (tap it for the last 12), your longest streak, how much of your dictionary you've learned, your latest achievement and your next goal, all on one screen. It also shows how much XP stands between you and the next rank. Country flags are real flags now.
Know what you're chasing
The leaderboard shows how much XP you need for #1 or the next cutoff (top 3, top 10…). The rest is on you.
The Duel tab, redone
Your dictionary, your level, your last duel and a quick "How duels work" guide, all in one place.
Pick your training opponent
The turtles now have their own scenes — and opinions. One won't take questions before coffee; another is still looking for its shell.
Sort your dictionary
Newest, A–Z or by status.
Block and report
From the ⋯ menu at the top of any profile. Someone you block can't find you in search, send you requests or words, or challenge you, and won't be matched with you either. Your list is in Settings > Blocked users; the Terms of Use are in Settings > Privacy & Data.
Also: no more waiting at launch on a weak connection, plus a pile of small fixes.
