GATOR VISION — WHAT COMES BACK
Every item returns with a Gator Grade, and ultra-processed picks are flagged from low to high risk. Tap any product to see its ingredients color-coded by risk, plus a Partial Disclosure warning for vague terms like "natural flavors." Tap any ingredient to see exactly what it's made of and the health impacts it may cause.
GATOR GRADE — ONE HONEST NUMBER, AND WE SHOW YOU THE MATH
Every product gets a single score from 0 (Poor) to 100 (Excellent), and we publish exactly how it is built:
40% Nutri-Score 2023 — the algorithm European regulators use.
35% NOVA processing level — how industrially the food is made, computed from the product's own ingredient list, never inherited from another database.
25% additive risk — additives tiered by published safety evidence.
That is the whole formula. No nutrition panel? The weighting shifts to 58% NOVA and 42% additive risk. No readable ingredients, or a category the science does not cover? We return no grade rather than a guess. We would rather say we don't know than make a number up.
