Is it halal? Find out in seconds. Scan a barcode or snap the ingredient list, and Halal Pal gives you a clear Halal, Mushbooh or Haram verdict, with the reasons behind it.
Shopping shouldn't mean squinting at labels and searching every E-number. Halal Pal checks millions of products for you and flags the ingredients that matter: gelatin, pork derivatives, alcohol, animal-based additives and more.
WHY HALAL PAL
• Instant barcode checks: millions of products from Open Food Facts and the USDA database
• No barcode? Scan the label: photograph any ingredient list and select just the part you need
• Clear verdicts with reasons: see exactly which ingredients were flagged, highlighted in the list
• Halal-certified products: labelled products are marked with a "Halal certified" badge
• Smart about sources: halal, beef or fish gelatin isn't treated like unverified gelatin, and mono- and diglycerides are checked for plant or animal origin
• Dhabiha mode: stricter checking that also flags meat and poultry without verified dhabiha slaughter
• Multilingual labels: reads ingredient lists in English, French, German, Spanish and Swedish
• Scan history: product photos, search, and filters by verdict
• Report a problem: think a result is wrong? Tell us straight from the result screen
PREMIUM
• Unlimited scans
• No ads
• Continuous scan: check a whole shopping trip without stopping, with a distinct vibration for each verdict
Free users get 3 scans per day.

Mashallah this App is easy to use and so helpful. May Allah reward you. The App helps us scan and check if the food items we are buying at the market have any non Halal content. Sometimes the ingredients are tricky. We used to spend so much time looking up ingredients to make sure they are Halal. This now with one scan we know before buying. This is a must have for all Muslims. God Bless you for this help.
Good app that works

The free version doesn’t have annoying popup ads that stop you from scanning. It does have a 3 scan limit per day but that’s fair. I may sign up for premium down the road since it’s not too expensive
Works great and is fast

I tried other apps and they can take a while to load and to fetch results. This app is also very affordable (premium) subscription.
Thanks for this app

This is exactly what my family needed for grocery shopping. Thank you
