Mastermind is the classic code-breaking puzzle reimagined for iPhone and iPad. Crack a hidden color code using logic, deduction, and strategy — then compete on Game Center leaderboards.
CRACK THE CODE A secret code of colored pegs is hidden. Each guess gives you feedback: red dots for correct color and position, white circles for right color in the wrong spot. Use that information to narrow down the possibilities and crack the code in as few turns as possible.
THREE DIFFICULTY LEVELS • Easy — 4 pegs, 4 colors (256 possible codes). Great for beginners. • Standard — 4 pegs, 6 colors (1,296 possible codes). The classic challenge. • Hard — 5 pegs, 8 colors (32,768 possible codes). For serious codebreakers.
GAME MODES • New Game — 10 turns to crack the code. Earn points and climb the leaderboard. • Zen Mode — Unlimited turns with a growing board. No pressure, just pure logic. • How to Play — A 9-step interactive tutorial that teaches combinatorics, deduction, and optimal strategy.
POINTS & LEADERBOARDS Earn points for every win. Harder difficulties and fewer turns mean bigger scores thanks to the turn multiplier system. Compete globally or with friends on Game Center.
ACHIEVEMENTS & STREAKS Track your win streak and unlock achievements: First Win, Crack It in 3, Win 10 Games, and streak milestones at 5, 10, and 25 games.
