QT Albums is ready in your shop, with sizes, covers and boxes. Pick your markup and your clients build their album themselves.
Your shop is in the app, bookings now live under Booking, and contracts show as sent only once they really are. Plus a few fixes.
1.51 Oct 14
Search now sits at the top of Freelance and finds people, jobs and places in one go. When the couple answers the questionnaire, their replies go straight into the job. Moodboard in full screen, and golden hour shows the right time again.
1.49 Oct 12
A Home screen that works for you
The app has a new look in glass. The top of Home shows what needs you right now. Below it you find your week, the weather, quick actions and whatever is waiting on a reply from a client. You choose which cards to show and drag them into the order you like.
Your gallery in your pocket
Create a gallery, upload and deliver, straight from your phone. Print sales, favourites, downloads, watermark and look are all handled here too.
Invoices and payments
Send the invoice as a PDF by email, see every invoice you have sent with its status, and refund a Vipps payment right from the payment.
More of Studio on your phone
Your online shop, the package builder, discount codes and gift cards, stories, the client portal and key figures are now in the app. A quote becomes a job in one tap, and meetings can be edited and deleted.
A tidier Studio
Settings are gathered in five groups instead of 26 rows, and Company & invoices has an overview with pages of its own.
In the messages on a job you can see when your client has read what you wrote. Contacts are now Clients, agreements are Contracts and assignments are Jobs. The app also speaks Lithuanian.

Fewer freezes, no crashes. Now we only freeze the moments you capture
1.47 Oct 1
Say yes to a booking and the job is there
One tap does both now. You stay in the inbox and move straight on to the next one.
The amount you type is what your client pays
Turn on prices including VAT and the invoice works the VAT part out backwards.
Vipps from the app
No Vipps online yet? Order it here. The card tells you what Vipps says back, so you know you are up and running.
Boudoir is a shoot type of its own, and your price list sits under Quotes where you go looking for it.
1.45 Sep 14
Quotes from your phone
You build the whole quote in the app now. Packages with up to five options, add-ons, lines pulled straight from your price list, and text laid out the way you want it. Same price list as on the web, so a product you make in the app is there next time you sit down at the computer. Check the client page before you send it. When the client says yes, the quote becomes a job with one tap.
From booking to job in one tap
Confirm a booking, tap once, and the job is there. Date, place, price, deposit and the client come along. If they booked a confirmation shoot, it says confirmation, not wedding. The client is already under contacts on the job.
Wrong type? Change it
If a job ended up with the wrong type, change it in the details. No need to enter the whole shoot again.
The calendar
A new appointment starts on the day you are looking at, and you get a word back when something is saved. Each job sits there once, not once for every time you hit save. Move the date and the old one does not stay behind.
News now leads with the image, the way it does on the web.

A bit of retouching here and there. Nothing you'll miss, plenty you'll stop noticing
1.41 Aug 21
• Campaign pricing in booking: set a campaign per category or per session type, and the price carries through to payment
• Messages: expand the composer to full screen for longer replies
• Contact form inquiries now show when they arrived
• The app can let you know when a new version is ready
• Complete translations of everything new in all eight languages
• Polish in the day plan and other improvements
1.40 Aug 19
VowFolio 1.33 welcomes videographers!
• Pick your role at signup: photographer, videographer or both
• Film as its own project type, with a dedicated videography contract template
• Upload video clips to your portfolio
• The shot list now separates photo and video, with Shoot and List merged into one view
• See a gallery's films and photos right in the app, with playback
• Freelance callouts reach the right people: videographers see video jobs
• New Payments screen gathering Stripe, invoicing and soon Vipps
• Company and invoicing are now one screen, with fields prefilled for you
• Create a client gallery straight from the client portal
• Meeting notes open with a single tap
Thanks for using VowFolio! Reach out in the app if anything feels off.
1.33 Aug 17
Hi all,
Quotes are in the app now. Put together the lines, the price and a
deadline, send it off, and the answer shows up when the client responds.
The contract library and News came along with it.
Mini sessions can be set up here too, not just on the web. Pick the date,
open the short slots you want, and that date blocks your freelance
calendar so nothing lands on top of it.
Support requests are proper cases now. Send a screenshot with it and the
reply comes back in the app.
Smaller fixes and bugs
1.32 Aug 14
Hi all,
On the day of a shoot, the dashboard shows only the day. Timeline, weather at the venue and the shortcuts you need. The rest is back the day after.
Smaller fixes and bugs

What's new in VowFolio
Everything in one calendar
Your weddings, bookings, freelance work and imported calendar now live in one place. If you're busy somewhere, you're busy everywhere. Bookings also appear at the correct time instead of as all day events.
Works even when you're offline
No signal? No problem. You can still open the app and access your weddings, timeline, shot list, files and messages. Everything syncs automatically once you're back online.
A smoother freelance workflow
From contracts to invoices and expenses, everything is connected. You can also leave a job if needed, and contact details and the exact location are only shared once you're matched.
Business profile improvements
You can now add your business name, company number and business address. If you're billing as an individual, you can choose that instead.
More flexible booking settings
Choose whether a session type can be booked instantly or requires an inquiry first. You also decide who can cancel a booking.
Better timelines and shot lists
Every timeline event now includes a map link, and you can lock your wedding day to avoid accidental changes. Shot lists now follow the order of the day and no longer jump back to the top while you're scrolling.
And a lot of polish
Storage calculations are now accurate when uploading photos from your phone, Studio settings stay in sync between the app and web, and we've fixed plenty of smaller issues to make VowFolio faster and more reliable.
1.3 Aug 8
What's new:
• Day plan: the rain plan now shows in the app, and you can write it on your phone instead of in Studio.
• Client briefs: briefs carry a project type, and the type follows along when you turn a brief into a job.
• Files: Moodboard shows the photos the couple uploads in the portal.
• Vipps: the receipt after payment looks like a receipt again, and cancelling just before renewal no longer charges you for that period.
• "Needs you" cards land on the right tab in couple, family, portrait and commercial jobs too.
1.2.9 Aug 6
What's new:
• Shot list: pull shots from the library or your moodboard, fill empty shots in one go, and drag them into order. Separate video track with its own categories.
• Day plan: events as cards with end times, and quick delete.
• Packing list and gear: pick from a catalog instead of typing everything, with its own card on the job.
• Vipps: pay your subscription and invoices with Vipps.
• Client questionnaire: end times for prep, ceremony and dinner.
• New look for jobs and shot lists, with floating glass buttons.
• Faster job loading, smoother tabs and a range of bug fixes.
1.2.7 Jul 28
Sign-up
You now choose whether you're a photographer or a couple before the account
is created.
Booking
• A separate field for what the package includes, one line per point.
• You decide where the cover image is cropped.
• Session types can be reordered by dragging.
• Clearer wording when notice and cancellation rules are turned off.
Freelance
• Matching new listings send you a notification. Its own toggle under
Notifications.
• On iPad: job list on the left, selected job on the right.
• Client listings no longer shift into place after the tab loads.
• Length limits on the greeting and price description in offers.
Dashboard
• Reply in Messages and the enquiry drops out of "Needs you".
• The meeting notes card opens the form directly when you have no notes.
Gallery storage
Purchased add-ons are now added to your quota instead of replacing it.
Sign-in is vertically centred on iPad.
1.2.6 Jul 27
What's new in 1.2.5
• Dark mode everywhere: sign in, sign up, agreements and many more screens now follow your theme
• Four new assignment types: Maternity, Newborn, Confirmation and Event, each with its own color and ready-made shot list categories in your library
• "Contract" is now "Agreement", it sits at the top of every assignment until it's signed, and signed agreements open as a PDF right in the app
• Payments live in the app: see what's been paid, add a note, and get a push the moment a booking is paid. Invoicing works without Stripe
• Couples can redeem discount codes and gift cards when they book
• The client portal now holds venues, invoices, meeting booking and the review your couple leaves you
• Client briefs show country and budget, and remind the couple after 3, 7 and 14 days
• A tidier assignment overview: sunset and golden hour always show, the weather forecast appears as the day gets close, and the sections sort themselves by what's left to do
• Weather now finds your venue even when you've only typed a name
• Portfolio photos appear the moment you upload them, with a counter toward your limit
• Pick up to 30 photos at a time in Files and moodboards
• Contact forms show how many responses each one has
• The date picker lets you change month and year in one go
• New Assignment shows every type at a glance, no side-scrolling
• The app now speaks all ten languages, all the way through
• Fixed a crash when opening an assignment, a crash in the Get Started card, custom questionnaires that wouldn't show, a chat that loaded more than it needed to, and plenty of small things
1.2.5 Jul 26
we soaked up some sun, ate some ice cream and swatted a few bugs.
The most annoying one was a bug that could crash the app on launch. It's fixed. Calendar sync runs smoother too. Thanks to everyone who reported it!
1.2.3 Jul 22
The calendar now has an availability layer. Block off dates you don't want booked, and see everything in one place.
The shot list got smarter: edit and delete individual shots, and reference images are stored locally so they're with you even without coverage at the venue.
Better offline support overall. Contacts, tasks, payments and deliveries are now available even when the app opens without a connection.
Task templates: you get a ready-made standard wedding workflow you can adjust, so you don't have to build your checklist from scratch.
Freelance: search for colleagues by name, and see calculated delivery times and real weddings on profiles.
Client requests: couples and photographers can now message each other directly in the app, and requests can show a budget.
The client portal: send the portal link to multiple email addresses in one go, and clients can sign in with a one-time code.
The profile has been redesigned with fewer pages and clearer saving.
Also: archived jobs stay in the archive, held dates show up correctly in the calendar, and a bug that could sign you out after an update is fixed.
1.2.1 Jul 16
Just some bug fixes
1.1.10 Jul 11
Now on iPad
VowFolio finally runs properly on iPad, not as a blown-up iPhone. Your assignment list and the assignment sit side by side, the dashboard fills the wide screen, and you can hand the iPad to your client to sign the contract with Apple Pencil.
New widget
The day's shoot plan meets you on the home screen, and the lock screen shows your next step without unlocking. The evening before a shoot, tomorrow's plan shows up on its own.
More
Replying to couples looking for a photographer, and turning an inquiry into a booking, is tidier now.
1.1.9 Jul 10
This is a big one.
NEW: Online booking
Couples can now book you straight from your page. Set your session types, availability and prices, take a deposit through Stripe, and the request lands in your inbox. Rebooking and cancellations handled too.
NEW: Marketplace for second shooters
Find and hire second shooters and assistants, or post an open call and get offers. Set the fee and share only what they need to see.
Payments and invoices
Send a Stripe payment link in two taps, take deposits, and send proper invoices with your account number. Quick picks for deposit and balance.
Calendar that syncs
Two-way sync with your iOS Calendar, plus iCal import and .ics export. Bookings block your availability automatically.
Dark mode
The whole app, top to bottom, now has a proper dark mode.
Plus business contact lookup and dozens of smaller fixes and refinements.
1.1.7 Jul 8
A new contract editor
Write your contracts with real formatting: headings, lists and bold. Line breaks stay where you put them, and your couples see exactly what you wrote, both when signing and in the PDF.
Contracts for every kind of shoot
Create contracts for portrait, family and commercial work, not just weddings.
Clearer finances
The dashboard now shows income, expenses and net, so you can see how the month is going at a glance.
Plus polish and small fixes throughout.
