all in simple words your child can read on their own.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Find an interesting rock on your walk
2. Take a photo with your phone
3. AI identifies it in seconds — name, rarity, and a surprising fact
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Built for young explorers, not geologists
Most rock ID apps are made for adult collectors. This one is made for children.
Every explanation is written in plain language, with no technical jargon to get in the way.
A rarity rating that makes every rock exciting
Is it an ordinary pebble, or a rare gemstone? Every scan reveals a rarity score from 1 to 5 stars.
Find a 4 or 5-star rock and confetti fills the screen.
Fun facts that spark curiosity
"Ancient people used this to make fire." "This is actually a cousin of a gemstone!"
Each result comes with a fact designed to make kids say "Whoa!" — and to open the door to science.
Build your own collection
Every rock you find is saved to your personal field guide. Collect more to rank up from
Beginner Hunter to Stone Master, earning badges and titles along the way.
Print your favorite finds
Turn any stone in your collection into a one-page field guide entry with a fun frame — choose from five designs — then print it or save it as a PDF. Great for school projects and a homemade rock book.
FOR PARENTS
Your child can use it alone
Simple vocabulary throughout means kids can explore without an adult reading for them.
Safe AI, by design
Powered by Google Gemini, tuned to produce only gentle, age-appropriate explanations.
Nothing to sign up for
No account, no personal information, no email address. Download and start exploring.
Great for school projects
Perfect for science homework, nature journals, and summer research assignments.
Download Ishikoro Explorers and head out on an adventure together.
