Track every wave with Apple Watch: your rides on your wrist while you surf, top speed, wipeouts and duck dives, and every session drawn on the map.
Track every wave you surf with your Apple Watch, and see exactly how you are surfing.
Surfer Worldwide (SWW) counts your waves, measures your speed and draws your whole session on the map. Then it turns that into what to work on next.
TRACK EVERY SESSION FROM YOUR WRIST
Press START and paddle out. SWW records your waves and your tries, top speed, ride time and distance, wipeouts, duck dives, paddling, heart rate and time in the water. Your rides show on your wrist while you surf, and the session sends itself to your phone when you finish.
SEE EVERY WAVE
Your route on a satellite map, wave by wave: where you took off, how fast you went, how long you rode, left or right. Tell it when something was not a wave, so your Surf Log stays accurate. Share a session as a card or as a video replay.
KNOW IF YOU ARE IMPROVING
Compare your sessions, see the patterns in your surfing and get the one thing to work on next, all drawn from your own numbers.
SURF WITH YOUR CREW
Follow other surfers, send them a shaka, climb the ranking of your beach and take on the challenge of the month.
YOUR SURF ID
Your level, sessions, waves, WSE, top speed, time in the water and surf days, in one profile.
TRAIN BETWEEN SESSIONS
An AI Coach that knows your recent surfing: readiness guidance, a next step and surf-specific workouts with video, timers and hands-free voice controls.
SURF LESSONS, WHEN YOU WANT THEM
Find independent surf instructors around the world and book from the app. Instructors can lend their watch for a lesson and send the session to their student, with the one thing to work on.
Track. Understand. Progress. Repeat.
Session tracking requires an Apple Watch. SWW works with Apple Health: with your permission it reads your heart rate during a session and saves your surf workouts.
Surfer Worldwide
So fun to able to track my progress and book so easily with my favorite instructors. Highly recommend.
Wave counting, rebuilt from your sessions.
• Paddling is no longer part of the ride: the paddle out before a wave and the paddle back after it are cut from every ride.
• No more rides while paddling out, and a push while paddling out never counts as an attempt.
• Attempts are the waves you really went for: a sprint for a wave that you missed counts; repositioning does not.
• Standing up low, with a hand in the water, is still a wave.
• Your wave speed bar is learned from your own waves, not from a fixed level.
• Top speed is a speed you held for two seconds, never a single GPS spike.
• Your pop-up is no longer mistaken for a wipeout.
• A drive home with the watch still on is never a wave.
• Review a session and correct it: "Not a wave" keeps the attempt, "Wasn't trying" removes it.
• The watch tells you when its barometer is not reading, and a board or level change made on the watch reaches your account.
