Small improvements and bug fixes to keep your pain diary running smoothly.

Sort your tags into your own groups, such as “Feelings” or “Pain type”, and drag them into any order under “More → Tags”. New tags go straight into the right group, and they appear in exactly that order when you log an entry.

Share your history, weekly trend, monthly report, progress and milestones as an image: straight to your Instagram Story, to your photos or through any other app. Pick a layout and decide whether values and the pain name are shown. Also, the app no longer asks whether you like it.

Four pages The bar at the bottom now has four pages. Today shows which pains you've already logged today and your medications. Analysis opens with your history chart, followed by the weekly trend, insights, body map, effect over time and the doctor's report; you can still reorder and hide the cards. Diary holds your entries, More all your settings. A new Today The Today page has been rebuilt. Log the value for an open pain with a single tap right there, and add details afterwards. At the top you see your last seven days at a glance; tap a day to open it in the Diary. “Your next goal” shows how far you are from your first trend, your first insight, your first doctor's report or your next milestone. Once you have enough entries, you get a new insight from your data every day, some of them with Pro. Big plus circle To log an entry, tap the plus circle in the middle of the bar. It's there on every page. On Today you can also log a pain that's still open right from its row. Pains now under More You now add your pains under “More” → “Pains” and edit, reorder and archive them there. You can also add another pain right from Today. Diary as a timeline Entries, doses and events appear together by day, newest first. Use the filters to see only entries, only doses or only events, and tap a row to edit it. Diary without Pro Without Pro, the Diary shows the last three months. This now applies to pain entries and events too, not just to doses. Nothing is deleted: older entries stay saved and are visible again right away with Pro. Your streak and milestones still count all your data. You can still edit and delete older entries via “Manage older entries” at the end of the Diary. Reminder before your trial ends If you try Pro free for seven days, you'll get a notification two days before the trial ends. Tapping it opens your subscription settings. Pro analyses as a preview Without Pro, finished Pro analyses now appear blurred on the Analysis page. You can see that there is already a result for your data; Pro makes it readable. A calmer start With no medication yet, Today shows just an “Add medication” row instead of a whole section. The empty body map takes you straight to your pains, and the optional fields in an entry are now simply “+ Tags”, “+ Location” and “+ Note”.

Medications Add your regular and as-needed medications, for example a patch every 72 hours. PainTrack reminds you of the next change, logs every dose with one tap, right from the reminder or in a pain entry, and can ask how you feel afterwards. One medication is free. Effect over time The new card shows how your pain behaves before a dose and in the 24 hours after it. Your doses appear as dots with a vertical line in the chart and as a separate section in the doctor's report (Pro) Body map Set where your pain is located, front and back, with around 50 areas. The body map on the dashboard shows which areas bother you most often and most intensely.

PainTrack now speaks your language. This update adds French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish – in the app, in the widget and in the doctor's report. The language follows your device; under "Settings & More" → "Language" you can pick one permanently.

This update makes visible what PainTrack used to decide silently: why a tag or an event is not being evaluated yet. And tags get a home of their own in Settings. Triggers: see what is still missing (Pro) Behind the info icon of the triggers card, every tag now shows whether it is being evaluated and how many entries it still needs - sorted by what appears next. Tags with enough data but no clear difference are listed in grey instead of silently missing. Events: see what is still missing Instead of "not enough data", every event now says what the before/after comparison still lacks: how many days, entries or different days. In the event list and behind the info icon of the card. Manage your tags You now create and delete your own tags under "Settings & More" → Tags, and deleting shows how many entries are affected. Deleting removes the tag from every entry instead of just hiding it. Suggested tags can be hidden too and restored all at once. When logging, you only pick. Tidier dashboard The "Today" and "All entries" lists show only the pencil. Deleting is still available in the full overview and while editing. Bug fixes - Input fields cut off letters with descenders. - The entry sheet opened from a reminder could not be scrolled down to the save button.

The biggest update since launch: PainTrack now answers the question that actually matters - what helps? Finally see what helps Note the day something changed: a new medication, the start of a therapy, an operation. PainTrack compares up to four weeks before with up to four weeks after and tells you whether it got better. Creating events is free, the analysis is part of Pro. Your triggers (Pro) Which circumstances and which weekdays go with stronger pain? Taken from your own entries, in plain sentences - and only when there is genuinely enough data. The four most notable sit on the dashboard, the rest are one tap away. Tap the circumstances instead of writing them down As you log an entry you now pick what was different that day: slept poorly, long time on screens, did sport. Twenty-six suggestions are there, and your own take two seconds to add. Widget for home and lock screen Your streak, today's status and the last 30 days - without opening the app. In five sizes, on the lock screen too. Monthly reports (Pro) Every month at a glance: days logged, average, pain-free days, your longest streak and the change from the previous month. Expandable and easy to share. Your dashboard, your order Drag the sections into the order that suits you, and hide the ones you do not need. Dark mode PainTrack now follows your device, or stays permanently light or dark - easier on the eyes when you log an entry in bed. Small celebrations along the way The tenth entry, a full week in a row, the first pain-free week: those moments no longer pass unnoticed. Backup in your iCloud (Pro) If you'd like, PainTrack backs your entries up automatically to your own iCloud - so they are there on your next device. You can always restore them, even without Pro. Export as a spreadsheet (Pro) Your entries, daily values or events as CSV - optionally in the format that European Excel opens without asking. More in the doctor's report (Pro) The PDF report now also includes your events with a before/after comparison and the most notable correlations - exactly the questions that come up in the consultation.

What's new, right at launch: After an update, PainTrack shows you once what has been added - no need to go looking for the changes yourself. Changelog with dates: Every version now shows when it was released, and recently published versions are highlighted.

New: The app is now available in English PainTrack is now fully bilingual - onboarding, screens, PDF reports, and reminders. The language follows your iPhone's system language automatically, but you can lock it to English or German anytime under "Settings & more" → "Language". Entries you've already logged keep the language they were created in.
