New home at dch.ltd! One Thing: one goal, one streak, one tap a day. Your data stays on your device — no account needed.
Most productivity apps overwhelm you: tasks, projects, dashboards, notifications fighting for attention. One Thing goes the opposite way. You choose exactly ONE goal that matters to you — read 20 pages, run 2 km, meditate 10 minutes, write 500 words — and you check in every single day. The streak counts. The streak motivates. One day at a time.
HOW IT WORKS
• Set your one thing — give it a name in seconds, change it anytime.
• Check in daily — one tap. Add a short note if you like.
• Watch your streak grow — the number keeps you honest.
• Share your progress — generate a beautiful share card with your day count, your goal, and a QR code friends can scan to download.
• Get reminded before you break the chain — a local daily notification warns you when your streak is at risk. Check in, and today's reminder is skipped automatically. The app-icon badge shows the days at stake and clears the moment you check in.
• Your data stays yours — everything is stored locally on your device. No account, no sign-up, no server, works fully offline.
WHY ONE THING
• Zero clutter: one screen, one number, one tap a day.
• Honest design: no gamified noise, no social pressure — just you and the streak.
• A tip jar, not a paywall: One Thing is free; an optional one-time tip supports development and unlocks nothing.
A HISTORY OF STEADY IMPROVEMENT
• v1.3.0 — Real daily "streak at risk" reminders, delivered right on time.
• v1.3.4 — Reminder engine rebuilt as a 30-day rolling window: notifications keep working for weeks even if you never reopen the app. Streak-count app badge added.
• v1.3.5 — Badge handling rewritten to talk to iOS directly: check in, badge gone. Instantly and reliably.
• v1.3.6 — New home at dch.ltd (share-card QR code, support email, legal pages) and a greatly expanded FAQ, including a note on a known iOS photo-picker issue when choosing screenshots.
One goal. One streak. Every day.
