Understanding wine has never been this simple. You love wine but never quite know how to talk about it? Viny is your new companion at the table. 1. SCAN AND DISCOVER Take a picture of the label. Our AI explains the wine the way a friend would: - What does it taste like? Fruity, full-bodied or fresh, in plain words. - Practical advice: temperature, glass, decanting, how long to keep it. Viny even adds what the winery publishes. - The weather of your harvest: frost, heatwave, rain at picking time. What really happened in the vineyard that year. - Eat what you like: pairings that work, from a big dinner to a cheese board. - A question? Your AI sommelier looks through your cellar and even answers "tonight I'm having...". Everything in your units: °F and dollars. 2. LEARN BY PLAYING Wine is better with a bit of fun. Every bottle comes with its own quick quiz: - Test your senses: can you guess the color or the aromas? - Challenge your friends: a game for several players on one phone, live scores and badges to unlock. - The Learn space: glossary, grape varieties, wine faults, stories to tell over the next glass. 3. YOUR POCKET CELLAR - Never lose a gem again: a dated history for each bottle (bought, restocked, tasted, given), with search, sorting and filters: region, color, harvest, price... - Real cellar management: quantity, bottle size from half to methuselah, price paid, where you bought it, total value and where it is stored. - Your journal: your notes, your impressions, a label photo and a memory for every tasting. - Your verticals: several harvests of the same wine? Viny compares them. Same bottle again? It shows how your ratings changed. - Reminders and wish list: Viny lets you know when the day comes, peak drinking included. And save that wine you tasted at a restaurant so you never forget it. - Your taster profile: statistics, favorite grapes, and a vineyard passport that fills in region by region. - Share beautiful cards of your wines or your cellar. Everything is saved to your account and follows you from one device to another. 4. WITH FRIENDS Add friends with a six-character code or by scanning their QR code. No phone number, no address book. - Give a bottle: the one they absolutely must taste lands in their app, ready for their wish list. - Your shared story: the bottles you drank together and the quizzes you played, on each friend's page. - A profile, not a wall: friends see how many bottles you have, what you tasted, your regions. Never your notes or your prices, and you can stop sharing at any time. 5. THE RIGHT MOVE AT THE RIGHT TIME Start the decanting timer from the wine sheet: the countdown shows on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island, with a notification when it's ready. 6. ALWAYS AT HAND Widgets, Live Activities, Siri shortcuts, Spotlight and Control Center: scan or find your cellar in one move. And app icons to unlock. Simple, playful, and guaranteed snob-free. PREMIUM Viny is free to download, with your first two scans included. Premium unlocks unlimited scans, and with them your tasting profile (it takes shape after 4 rated wines), the AI sommelier, the decanting timer, cellar reminders, taste matching and the weather records for each harvest. The quiz, multiplayer mode, the cellar and the journal stay free. If you buy a Premium subscription, payment is charged to your App Store account. Your subscription renews automatically within 24 hours before the end of the current period unless you turn off auto-renew.
