• Sharper full-screen photos while you listen, also on mobile data. • The narration rating now appears only after a story ends, and it no longer covers the subtitles.

Listen your way. Tap play on a place and a full-screen player opens, with subtitles that follow the voice, a speed menu and a button for the next story. The voice bars on each place now move while the story plays. Links to a place, event or activity now open exactly that item, even right after you install the app.

Languages are easier to find. The eleven most used languages now appear first: Albanian, English, Polish, Hebrew, Czech, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish and Greek. All other languages are one tap away under "Other languages".

The Downloads screen, new in the last update, now appears in all 28 app languages instead of English only.

Places, events and activities now keep their photos and text on your phone, in your language, so they show up even with no signal. Small photos are saved when you are on mobile data, full-size photos on Wi-Fi. The new Downloads screen shows what is stored and lets you switch mobile-data downloads off.

Tell us how the narration sounds. Tap a star while a story plays, change your mind as often as you like, and it saves when you leave. Bigger, easier to hit.

Updated app description and new screenshots for the Events and Activities sections.

Airport offer: if your free month does not arrive on the first try because the connection dropped, the app now retries automatically instead of giving up.

Hebrew is now available. The whole app, all 211 audio stories and every place description can be read and heard in Hebrew, with right-to-left layout. Fixes the “Get the full pass” banner still showing after you have already unlocked the app. Business profiles now show richer details and localized descriptions. Event pages show the meeting point on the map. Stability and translation fixes.

Events now show much further ahead. Festivals and seasonal programmes announced months in advance appear in the Events feed instead of being hidden until closer to the date. Each event and activity now shows its own phone and WhatsApp contact, so you can reach the organiser directly. Faster, more reliable photo loading.

Infrastructure update: the app now connects through our rootsalbania.com service domain. No changes to features or content.

New in this version: - Events & activities now available in Albanian - YouTube links on venues, events and activities - Better photos across listings - Reliability improvements

- More reliable audio downloads and playback - Smoother maps and nearby-places updates - Share places, events and activities with a link - Various stability fixes and refinements

Share the places, events and activities you love — friends who tap your link open them right in the app (or get the app free if they don't have it yet). Also fixes a bug where a shared link could open the app's home screen instead of the specific place, and the earlier "Offline" playback issue.

Performance and reliability improvements: • Much lower data use each time you open the app • Your Day, Week, or Month pass now works offline • Audio remembers where you stopped, with 15-second skip back and forward • Share a place with a friend • A storage check before large offline downloads
