Mac
Turn your music into a beautiful desktop.
MusicWall automatically changes your Mac desktop and Lock Screen to match the album artwork of the song currently playing in Apple Music or Spotify.
WHAT IT DOES
• Reads the current track (with your permission via macOS Automation)
• Pulls album artwork and builds a beautiful desktop wallpaper
• Optional frosted-glass look, art styles, and subtle motion that reacts to playback
• Optional desktop widgets: spinning vinyl or a minimal Now Playing card
• Shortcuts actions for refresh and common toggles
• Restores your previous wallpapers when playback stops
FOR BEST RESULTS
Grant Automation access for Music and/or Spotify under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation so Music Wall can read the current track and artwork.
Music Wall is made by fans of music and macOS. Apple Music and Spotify are trademarks of their respective owners; this app is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc. or Spotify AB.
