A shorter start: tell us your child's name, age and one thing from today, agree once, and the story plays. Keep it with a free account and it's waiting as Episode 1. When you leave a story early, just tell us if your child fell asleep. Stories now play alongside white noise and other sounds. Nicer, clearer pictures with no stray words in them. Your free story now resets in the afternoon, so trying the app in the morning never uses up tonight's story.

Fixed a problem in 1.2.7 that could stop new parents from signing up. The birth-year question is gone. You now just confirm you're the parent or guardian. Small fixes and polish.

A short "What year were you born?" question now comes first, so Still Stories stays an app for parents. Subscription terms now sit right under the button, and Manage subscription in Settings goes straight to Apple. Voice Circle: everyone who records their voice reads a short note and agrees first. You can remove a voice on any plan, and family voices are deleted on a set schedule. Shared pictures and postcards now say they were made with AI. New switches for story-ready and morning reminders, better VoiceOver support and many small fixes.

Try a free story before you make an account. Tell us your child's name and one thing from their day, then listen. Like it? Make a free account and that story stays in your child's library as Episode 1. When today's free story is done, the night now ends on a calm goodnight card. Warmer, more natural narration in every language. Clearer privacy details and many small fixes.

Tap any picture in a story to see the whole illustration full screen. Pinch to zoom in, or turn your phone sideways and let the picture fill the screen. With Bedtime mode on, the full-screen picture dims softly as the story winds down, and it fades along with the sleep timer. Plus small fixes to make bedtime smoother.

• A bedtime reminder that fits your child's bedtime. After your first story, tell us when bedtime is and we'll send a gentle reminder 15 minutes before. No names appear on your lock screen. • Steadier narration. We fixed an issue that could stop the audio partway through a story. • Purchases activate more reliably. If your connection drops right after you subscribe, the app keeps trying and lets you know. • You stay signed in through a weak connection instead of being sent back to the start. • Forgot your password? You can now reset it from the sign-in screen. • Before signing up, choose a quick sample story or a personalized preview. • Family voices now confirm the voice belongs to an adult. • Clearer plan details in Settings.

A calmer Still. • Redesigned from the first screen to the last night — softer night colors, gentler light, and one calm look across the whole app • Easier to read in a dark room: larger story text, higher contrast, and bigger buttons for one-handed bedtimes • Smoother, quieter motion that settles instead of bouncing — and respects Reduce Motion and Reduce Transparency • Clearer moments when something goes wrong, with a simple way to try again instead of a blank screen • Pull to refresh on every tab, and dozens of small fixes throughout

Better bedtime, honestly told. • See exactly what each plan includes — stories per night, expressive narration, and Voice Circle family voices • 7-day free trial now clearly shown on every plan • Voice Circle: bedtime stories told in Mom's, Dad's or Grandma's voice — recorded once, always with their permission • Fixes and polish throughout

Meet Voice Circle • Bedtime stories in the voices they love — add up to 3 family voices (Mom, Dad, Grandma…) and tonight's story can be told in their voice • Always with permission — the person being recorded reads a short consent line aloud, and we verify it before their story voice is created • "Tonight's voice" — choose who tells the story, right from the story screen • Rename or remove a family voice anytime — removing it deletes the voice completely Plus small fixes that make story narration more reliable.
