Fixed an issue where Make it a book and Ask Hodocore kept asking you to sign in with Apple even when you were already signed in. You can now sign in with Google. Guests can sign in with Apple or Google right from the cloud AI features, and their existing data comes along. Swipe left or right on a trip page to flip to the next or previous day; swipe from the left edge of the screen to go back. After erasing a day's pencil draft, you can ask the pencil to write it again. Also fixes a brief flicker when returning to the home screen.

Travel Diary 2.0: your whole trip, now a travel journal. A new paper journal design: trips, diaries and expenses now live on the pages of a notebook, and the words you write appear in a handwritten-style font. Each check-in is finished with a stamp, and a postcard arrives when your trip ends. Paper sound effects and haptics have been added, and you can turn them off in Settings. Pencil drafts, powered by Apple Intelligence on your iPhone: AI writing first appears in pencil and only becomes yours when you tap to keep it, all without an internet connection. Get place category suggestions and a few questions to help you remember when you check in, log an expense in one sentence, have receipts and travel documents read on your device first, and get a daily page draft, spending insights and a one-line time machine recap. (Requires iPhone 15 Pro or later, iOS 26, and Apple Intelligence turned on.) New for Pro, written by Claude: Make it a book reads every diary entry and photo of a trip and writes it as a book, one chapter per day, which you can rewrite day by day and add to your bookshelf. Ask Hodocore answers questions across all your trips, such as "What did I eat in Kyoto?", with sources. It works on every iPhone, and you will be asked for your consent before the first use. Free users can try the preface and Day 1 of a book and ask 3 questions. The previous AI travel story has been upgraded to the memory book. On supported iPhones, receipts and documents are read on the device first and the cloud is used only when needed; Pro cloud AI scans are now 20 per month. New sample trip: Europe by Rail, 14 days.

New: Apple Intelligence receipt scanning (test). On supported iPhones, take or choose a photo of a receipt and the amount, currency, time, store name and category are read and filled in right on your device. No internet connection is needed, and it does not use your AI scan quota. Requires iPhone 15 Pro or later and iOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence turned on. Unsupported devices show a notice, and the existing Scan receipt feature works as before. Translations for English, Japanese and Korean are more complete, including trip details, expense splitting and permission prompts that previously appeared in Chinese. Weather descriptions now follow the app language. Travel phrases now include English meanings, and the Thailand sample trip is available in English. Other fixes and stability improvements.

AI recognition for travel documents. Photograph or select a boarding pass, hotel confirmation, insurance policy, or ticket, and the app reads out flight numbers, departure and arrival times, check-in and check-out dates, and booking references automatically, so you no longer have to type them in one by one. Photos and PDFs are both supported. Documents can now be edited. A new edit screen lets you change the document type, title, booking reference, and notes. The document list is now grouped by category, and each card shows the date of the trip day rather than the date it was filed. Redesigned check-in flow. The photo step now comes second, and the shooting time and location are read from the photo and filled in for you. Fixed an issue where shooting information could not be read on iOS. A new Kyoto notebook look. Ruled-paper texture, round stamps, serif headings, and binder-hole details, with more refined entrance animations. Discover is simplified to show only the one trip you need right now. Trip cover photos can now be repositioned and reoriented. Two new expense categories have been added: Attractions and Experiences. The app interface is now available in Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. If you were using the Thai, Vietnamese, Spanish, or Portuguese interface, it will now appear in English. The Pro AI recognition allowance is now 50 scans a month, shared between receipt and document recognition. Other improvements and stability fixes.

New Place Search makes check-ins faster and more accurate. When you check in, type a place or business name and pick from instant suggestions. The name and exact location are filled in for you automatically, so there is no need to drag the map to find the spot. Type to search, with name and address shown in the suggestion list. Tap a result to locate it automatically, and the map moves with it. If you are offline or no match is found, you can still type a name or pick on the map. Check-in location fix. Fixed an issue where Check in here could record the wrong spot. It now uses your actual current location for accurate map footprints. Other improvements and stability fixes.
