Scan labels or barcodes and spot 14 allergens instantly. Create a shareable allergy card for restaurants, school and travel, and ask the AI assistant anything. Scan a food label or barcode and see allergens highlighted in seconds. Allergio checks every ingredient against your own allergen profile, from gluten and peanuts to milk, egg, soy and sesame. Living with celiac disease, a peanut or tree nut allergy, a dairy allergy or lactose intolerance? Shopping for a child with food allergies? Allergio is a food allergy scanner that helps you decide faster in the grocery aisle, at restaurants and when you travel. SCAN FOOD LABELS Point your camera at any ingredient list. Allergio reads the text with OCR and highlights allergens in real time. The ingredient scanner reads labels in 8 languages, which helps with imported products. BARCODE LOOKUP Scan a product barcode to check its ingredients against a global database of millions of food products. Know what's inside before it goes in your cart. PHOTO & MANUAL CHECK Check ingredient photos from your gallery, or type the ingredients in yourself. It works well for recipes, menus and screenshots friends send you. AI ALLERGY ASSISTANT Ask Allergio AI about food allergies, cross-contamination, finding safe restaurants, hidden allergens or emergency reactions. Answers are tailored to your allergen profile. 14 ALLERGEN CATEGORIES Track gluten, milk, egg, peanut, tree nuts, soy, fish, shellfish, sesame, mustard, celery, lupin, mollusks and sulfites. More than 600 keyword variations help flag allergens hidden under less obvious names on a label. Use it as a gluten checker for celiac, a quick peanut allergy check, or a way to spot milk, egg or shellfish before you buy. ALLERGY CARD Create a shareable card that lists all your allergens. Export it as an image or PDF to show restaurant staff, give to your child's school or carry when you travel abroad. HISTORY & FAVORITES Every scan is saved. Bookmark safe products so you can find them fast on your next grocery run. STATISTICS & INSIGHTS See your scanning habits, daily streaks and the allergens detected most often. HOME SCREEN WIDGET Start a scan with one tap from your home screen. ALLERGIO PREMIUM Allergio is free to download. Optional Premium unlocks: • Unlimited ingredient and barcode scans • Unlimited AI chat messages • Multiple allergy profiles for family members • All 14 allergen categories • An ad-free experience LANGUAGES English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese. IMPORTANT Allergio helps you detect allergens, but it is not a medical device. Always double-check ingredients and ask your healthcare provider for medical advice. Label scanning can't detect cross-contamination that happens during manufacturing. Allergies need to be specific

I am allergic to citric acid and citrus fruit. Nothing else. The app flags corn whenever present because citric acid is listed under the corn list. Each allergen should be a separate item to select, not an umbrella category containing many things you are not allergic to.

Developer Response
We sincerely apologize for the confusion and inconvenience. Your feedback is very valuable to us. We will work on resolving this issue so that each allergen can be selected individually, preventing unnecessary allergen alerts. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us improve the app.
