Now available in English. New in 1.1.0: a short tour on first launch, and the microphone is requested only when you actually start recording. Keep time, count your bars, and hear where you are in the phrase. BeatPocket is a metronome built for drum practice. Set a tempo and a time signature, and it counts the bars for you — with a cue sound every 4, 8, or 16 bars so you always know where the phrase turns around. FREE • Tempo from 40 to 240 BPM, with a slider and one-tap fine adjustment • Time signatures: 4/4, 3/4, 6/8 • Accented downbeat so the top of the bar is unmistakable • A cue sound every 4, 8, or 16 bars — or off • Running bar counter and beat indicator • Optional one-bar count-in before playback starts • Choose your microphone input and force output to the iPhone speaker BEATPOCKET PRO Pro is a one-time purchase that adds recording and chord backing. • Record Your Playing — capture your drumming while the metronome or backing track plays • Recording Library — keep every take, rename it, and play it back any time • Piano Backing & Auto Bass — your chord progression becomes piano comping with a walking bass line • Chord Progression Editor — build progressions bar by bar, start from 13 presets, and transpose in one tap • Backing Volume Control — balance the chord and bass levels to sit behind your kit WHY IT HELPS Practising to a bare click tells you whether you are on the beat. It does not tell you whether you are on bar 3 or bar 7. BeatPocket keeps that structure audible, so you can work on eight-bar phrases, fills that land, and endings that arrive on time — instead of losing count halfway through. Recording closes the loop. Play a take against the metronome, listen back, and hear the difference between how it felt and how it actually sat. Add piano and bass from your own chord progression and you are practising against something musical rather than a click alone. NOTES • Recording is a Pro feature. iOS asks for microphone access when you start your first recording — nothing is captured until you allow it. • Wired headphones are recommended. Bluetooth adds latency that can make recordings sound out of time. • BeatPocket is available in English and Japanese.

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

BeatPocket now speaks English. • Full English localisation — every screen, alert, and the microphone permission prompt • A short three-page tour on first launch, explaining the metronome, the microphone, and what Pro adds • The microphone is no longer requested at launch. iOS now asks only when you start your first recording, which is where it belongs • Recording dates now follow your device's region format • Chord progression presets renamed to describe their harmony, so what they are is clear at a glance • Various layout fixes so longer text fits on smaller screens
