Fractal Travel Wide brings deep fractal zoom to Apple TV. Pick a scene, turn on auto zoom, and let your screen drift deeper into the Mandelbrot set and 24 other patterns. Every frame is rendered in real time with Metal at your TV's native resolution, up to 4K.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Pan and zoom with the Siri Remote, or start auto zoom and repeat playback for a calm, ambient view.
- Explore all 25 patterns, from Mandelbrot and Julia to Burning Ship, Nova, Apollonian Gasket, and Koch Snowflake.
- Color every view with 22 scientific palettes, previewed in the Palette row, and nine render styles: Band, Smooth, Flow, Glow, Orbit Circle, Orbit Cross, Angle, Cosine Palette, and Math RGB with hue control.
- Use the Color By and Tone rows to paint Mandelbrot, Julia, and the other escape-time patterns by Escape, Stripe, Trap, or Distance, in a Soft pastel or Vivid tone.
- Fine-tune Julia, Magnet, and Koch Snowflake parameters from the remote.
- Zoom up to a trillion times on Mandelbrot and Julia. Each pattern stops where its precision runs out, and the Max Zoom row shows that limit.
- Open the Scene Gallery of 15 curated scenes, save your own favorites, and play them as a playlist in order or shuffled.
Every feature is included from the start: there are no subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Newton, Magnet, Nova, Sine, Exponential, Boxfold, Ikeda, Kaliset, Sierpinski Carpet, Koch Snowflake, and Apollonian Gasket stop at 10,000x, and Lyapunov and Bifurcation at 2,000x. Past those depths their images only broke into flat blocks. On a 4K TV and in some regions some of them stop sooner, and the Max Zoom row shows the limit for the current view.
